"Hayner, Pence…can I ask a quick question?"

"Sure, what's up?"

"Try to make it quick. I have to practice for the Struggle Match, remember?"

Olette was sitting on the wall where the trains rode by. Her mind was engulfed with a peculiar thought. Usually around this time, she would be watching her blond friend practice with his fight dummy with glee and advice to give. Other times she would be talking with Pence about the load of schoolwork that kept their attention preoccupied. Whenever she chose neither or latter choice, she would always end up gazing at the sky. It was known around that Twillight Town stood in time's passing; it was never light or dark, it was always somewhere in between. Something about that forever amazed Olette to no end. Oddly enough, she was thinking about something instead.

Her arms were drawn back behind her body as her aquamarine eyes were drawn to a close. The beaded bracelet she wore was clinging to her arms as she shuffled a little bit to stay in a comfort zone. As soon as she adjusted, she started swinging her feet up and down and shuffled her head to the side.

"Do you ever…get the feeling that maybe we are missing someone in our group?"

"Ok…what kind of question is that, Olette? It's always been the three of us and you know that."

Hayner looked over at Pence, sending him a mental "Do you have any idea where or what she's talking about?" The typically chipper boy was rubbing his head innocently, giving a reply of "I know as much as you do, which is nothing". Hearing this mental response, Hayner sighed and continued hitting the dummy as he waited for Olette to continue.

"It's funny; I always get the feeling that someone or maybe something is missing from our group. Even though our trio is awesome and our adventures are exciting, it doesn't seem right."

"Like a part to a picture that should be there but isn't?"

Pence added, placing his feet between his thighs on the walls. He didn't quite understand or know exactly where Olette was going with this. Empathy must have been playing with him though as he dug into his mind to question this theory.

"Geez, what's with the philosophy induced thinking all of a sudden? Come on, you two know that everything is great. We always have each other and it will always stay that way. Everything is fine and nothing is missing so don't think about that."

"Hayner's right. Everything is peachy so why question?"

"You're probably right…maybe I am thinking too much. I blame Ms. Jo's homework assignments."

"Hehe, when am I ever wrong about these kinds of things?"

The two brunettes both looked at Hayner with a "Do you really want to know the answer to that" glance. The blond decided not to get his answer and turned back his test dummy in spite.
