Finally
It was a hot summer day at the ministry and Hisoka Kurosaki found himself walking threw the forest of Sakura or Cherry Blossom trees, lost in his thoughts and memories, a sad, almost remorseful expression on his face.
Tsuzuki walked up behind Hisoka, a solemn look on his face. 'He's looked so sad lately' he thought before he decided to say something. "What's wrong, Hisoka?" he ventured.
Hisoka jumped a little in surprise, turning around. "Oh…Tsuzuki, it's nothing. Don't worry about it,"
Tsuzuki gave his best puppy dog face, ears and paws included. "C'mon, Hisoka. I know something's wrong. Tell me, please!?" he asked cutely.
Hisoka sighed audibly, unable to resist Tsuzuki's puppy dog face. "I'm just thinking; don't worry about it, baka." Hisoka said with a small, smug smile on his angelic face.
Tsuzuki gave Hisoka a sad look before retaliating. "I'm not a baka!" he said, pouting.
"I was only joking, silly." Hisoka said softly, almost sadly.
Tsuzuki frowned at the sad tone in Hisoka's voice. "Be honest with me, Hisoka. Something's bothering you, and I'm gonna find out what." He said, stepping closer to Hisoka, concern evident on his features.
"I told you not to worry…I just," Hisoka started, but trailed off in a sigh, taking a step back and turning his back to Tsuzuki so that the other couldn't see his face.
"But…" Tsuzuki said, his puppy dog face returning. He sighed. "I worry about you because I care about you." He said softly, the puppy face replaced with one of worry. "And don't tell me not to worry, I will anyways." Tsuzuki said as he laid a hand on Hisoka's shoulder.
"Tsuzuki…Do you hate me?" Hisoka asked suddenly, as his shoulders began to shake from controlling his emotions.
"No…I don't hate you…" Tsuzuki said softly as he pulled Hisoka into a warm hug. "I…I love you…" he said, his voice almost inaudible.
Hisoka turned to face Tsuzuki, both shock and a bit of happy relief showed on his face. "Y-you…Love me?" Hisoka asked as a mixture of emotion, both his own and Tsuzuki's, ran rampant threw his mind, body, and soul.
"Yes!" Tsuzuki said happily. "I just want you to be happy." He said, his true feelings finally realized.
"Tsuzuki…is what your feeling…is that love?" Hisoka asked the shinigami, looking up with cute curiosity from the hug he and Tsuzuki still shared.
"Yes, Hisoka, it's love." Tsuzuki said a tender smile on his face. He looked down at Hisoka, wondering what to do next. His hand moved to cup Hisoka's cheek, and before he knew what he was doing he leaved down to Hisoka's lips in a chaste kiss.
Hisoka's eyes widened in surprise, and his body did not react for sometime, for he had never been kissed before and he didn't really know what to do. Luckily for him, his body did, for it soon began to act of its own accord and thus Hisoka found himself returning the kiss, slowly warping his arms around Tsuzuki's long, elegant neck.
Tsuzuki's heart leaped in surprise and happiness. He took Hisoka's invitation and slowly deepened the kiss, hoping that Hisoka would react.
Hisoka was timid at first, but soon he found himself responding and allowing Tsuzuki access to his mouth,
Tsuzuki nearly melted as he explored Hisoka's mouth. After a few more seconds he broke the kiss. He really needed to breathe. After taking a deep breath he steadied himself and asked. "Do you love me?"
"I…I don't know…but if what your projecting are feelings of love, then yes." Hisoka said, sure of himself. "I love you, Tsuzuki."
"Good." Tsuzuki said contentedly. He pulled Hisoka into a warm embrace, full of love and loyalty.
Hisoka sighed, finally content and happy with his life...his life with Tsuzuki. Hisoka Kurosaki had finally found peace and love.
