"I HATE HER. I HATE HER. I HATE HER. I HATE HER." Troy stormed out of the valentines dance, away from that horrible woman.
"What happened?" Abed asked, turning away from the flyer covered corkboard he had been studying.
"She called you weird." Troy blurted out, his face flushed in anger.
"I am weird." Abed replied, his face blank and open, as it usually was.
"Not as weird as her. Who the hell is Nicholas Nickleby?!" He paused to take a breath. "And she wouldn't shut up about it."
"Hmm, I know." Abed looked down and pursed his lips.
Troy put his hand on his best friends shoulder. These types of moments were strangely common for the two. A single point when both realized the power of their friendship. It had dashed crazed zombie hordes, space missions, and even now a girl. "There's someone out there for us." He raised his eyebrows and looked into Abed's eyes.
This was weird, if he was correct, Troy was inferring that the only person for him was… well… Abed. "Happy Valentine's Day." Abed smiled lightly at his friend and the two nodded. Suddenly Abed closed the distance between them and pressed his lips to his best friends. It was a soft and quick kiss, one that somehow fit Abed's demeanor. Troy looked into his friends eyes when their lips broke apart.
"Dude…" Troy began his sentence, seemingly unable to finish it. His expression wasn't disapproving, but seemingly in awe. He closed the gap this time, pressing their lips harder.
The door opened with a loud click and the sexy librarian came into the hallway. Troy pulled away from Abed when he heard her gasp. She ran by them quickly, her eyes wide and her mouth ajar. "Ignore her." He laughed against Abed's neck.
"Ignore who?" Abed asked and Troy giggled.
"Abed." Troy's face cleared he pulled back so they were face to face. "Will you go out with me?" He raised an eyebrow and waited for the answer.
"Was it not clear that I liked you?" Abed looked around and put his hands up. "Because I'll kiss you again if that's what it takes."
"Oh shut up." Troy took his best friend's hand in his and they returned to the party.
