Coffee and Twin Sisters

Authors Notes: Hi guys, I know I have been absent for a while but I was on holiday and still am, but this pesky plot bunny would not leave me alone so here we are. I am currently OBSESSED with Riverdale and really love Jason so here is a sort of Morning-in-life of the Blossom family, btw Jason is alive because I like fanfictions where he is alive.

Disclaimer: I in no way own Riverdale or any recognisable characters, or Jason and Cheryl :'(

(No POV)

It was a cold dreary morning in Thornhill, when the sound of two alarm clocks woke the teenaged occupants up from dreams of new lipstick lines and fast cars. From under a duvet in a bed, in a room down a long corridor an arm felt it's way out and hit the alarm clock, effectively turning it off, the arm then retreated back under the duvet. Jason Blossom was not a morning person. Realising that he had school, Jason dragged his aching body out of bed. His body was aching from the gruelling football practice that he had attended last night, he didn't feel well enough to get out of bed but by some miracle, he did. Thankfully he had laid his clothes for today on his (very messy) desk the night before. He groggily dressed and headed a few doors down the corridor to his sisters room.

Upon entering he saw that Cheryl was sitting at her black vanity doing he make-up and her hair. She turned around to look at her twin, "You need coffee Jay-Jay, and you need to brush your teeth and hair." He smiled.

"Yeah will do. Just came in to say good morning."

"Good morning. Hey, Jay-Jay, are you ok, you look like death warmed up." Jason was never able to keep anything from his twin. "I feel like death warmed up. Football was really tough yesterday, and by the end we were all soaked." Cheryl looked at her brother with pity in her big eyes. "The moment it started raining, I took the girls inside."

"Good plan."

"Thanks. Wanna go get coffee."

"Do I ever?!"

By the time the twins were presentable, breakfast had already been served, pancakes and maple syrup, the twins favourite. "Good morning Jason, Cheryl." Clifford said to them without even looking up from the morning news. "Morning sweethearts." Penelope said kissing each child on the cheek (or at least trying to kiss Jason). "Good morning." They said in unison. Breakfast was a quiet affair, partly because no one had anything interesting to say and partly because Cheryl and Jason were having a full blown conversation from just looks. They called it Twintuition. Jason checked his watch, "Ten to eight. We better go Cher." He looked at his twin and they excused themselves from the table. Once they were out of Thornhill's huge black doors, they both instantly said, "I'm driving." After about two minutes of heated looks, Jason threw Cheryl the keys. "I ache too much to drive." He said. Two minutes later the twins sped away in a red '57 convertible.

If you looked saw them pas by you would see two siblings driving to school, but if you looked closer you would see two best friends sharing jokes and driving off to see their friends.

THE END
