Wolfstar Headcanon
I don't actually ship Wolfstar, so this is a little experimental to me. My original plan was to write this one with them still technically being friends, but they act a little closer than friends, so it's pretty obvious they'll end up more. But I got caught up in it xD Enjoy! And please review!
"Sirius! Sirius, what are you doing?!" Remus Lupin was in the Gryffindor common room, sprawled on a sofa with a book in his hand. His vision was being obscured by a hand that kept passing over his face, a hand he recognised well. With a sigh of irritation that was secretly masking his laughter, Remus turned over onto his stomach, facing one of his best friends and rolling his eyes at him. "Sirius, I need to study!"
"Oh, come on, Remus, I'm bored! Let's go play Quidditch or something."
Remus rolled his eyes again. "No!"
"Why not?" Sirius replied, his brow crumpling into a frown. It did not dissolve his good looks, however; if anything, it made him look haughty and more handsome. Remus was surprised at how his stomach flipped with this look, but he ignored it and continued nonetheless.
"For lots of reasons! One, if we play Quidditch James will swamp us all. Two, it's O.W.L. year and I really need to learn these charms. Three…" He paused his recital for a second to glance out of the window, through which the sun, hanging low in the sky, could be seen. "…I don't wanna stay in sight late tonight. You know that."
Sirius studied Remus carefully for a minute, before squeezing into the gap between the back of the sofa and the wall. Remus, who had closed his eyes against the slowly setting sun, looking upset, had not noticed.
Sirius' robes chafed against the sofa of the material as he moved, but the general chatter in the common room covered up the sound. It was only when Sirius spoke again, only when Remus felt his friend's breath on his cheek, did Remus open his eyes. "Remus."
Remus let out a gasp at Sirius' new close proximity- for the black haired boy had slid onto the sofa so that he was lying beside the brown haired one, and they were so close they were touching. Sirius' arm was lifted above Remus' head, and he was smirking. His eyes, however, were deadly serious. "Remus, you'll be fine. You always are. James and Peter and I will be there, like always. Don't worry."
Remus' gaze locked on to Sirius', his worry clear in his tiny frown. "Yeah… I guess. I'm just worried I'll attack one of you. If that happened, I'd never forgive myself; I care about you too much!" He looked seriously panicked now, and he leant a little closer to Sirius. "Promise you'll make sure I'm alright?"
Sirius' smirk widened into a genuine smile as he shuffled onto his side to get a better view of Remus. "I always will. Forever." And with that, he leant forward and pressed a light kiss on Remus' lips.
