Title: Someone Else

Summary: He had to get away from it all, because the attention he was getting was in the extremes both positive and negative. The war was coming, and he wasn't going to be Albus's whipping boy anymore.

Warning: Hints of (future) Slash, Slight/Major Character bashing ( I'm going to hit everyone most likely), Grey!Harry (haven't decided if he will go dark as of yet).

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, if I did I wouldn't be coming out with a book that has nothing to do with wizards, I'd be writing the next generation, but it seems that the world knows we exist so she must have assumed that story had already been written every which way (just joking, but I repeat I do not own).

Chapter One

Simeon smiled at the young flustered witch in front of him, reassuring her with, "Not even I saw it at first," because honestly he hadn't, and today was a hectic day to be an employee of a renowned bookstore like Sissi' Ephora Binding', which was a second-hand bookstore, known for its better quality (some even brand new) books if not its reinforced no-wear-and-tear charms on said books.

One of the reasons he chose to work at a bookstore, when it certainly wasn't the headache it gave him sorting the bloody things was, in the fact that it was the last place he expected anyone to look for him in.

"Well, Well," a male voice sniffed, "If it isn't another Weasley, should have expected to see one or ten of your lot here." Simeon turned around and stared blankly into the eyes of what was obviously a young Malfoy replica. He looked almost exactly like Draco had when he was a second year with his hair constantly gelled back with one stray strand falling between his eyes.

He turned around to see doe brown eyes staring holes through his silver vest, an embarrassed flush hiding the freckles splattered on her nose, and less prominent buck teeth chewing on her bottom lip. This was Hermoine's and Ron's child...he hadn't even known. It had been so long since he had hid from the sight of red hair in the crowd, perhaps longer then the announcement that had been in the Daily Prophet on May 2 2006.

"Excuse me, kind Sir, but what exactly is your definition of here exactly, that one would expect a beautiful young lady to visit in her valuable time?" He asked, making sure to slur half his words so that they seemed to run into each other.

The Malfoy heir was at first completely stunned, staring at him in incomprehension before he decided that the situation was so dire that his only response could be an old well-known and sometimes feared or at least enough to give one pause to think about what they were doing or had already done. "When my father, hears about this-!" but before he could finish a hand gripped his shoulder.

"Scorpious!" The child fell silent.

Stormy grey eyes clashed with shiny cotton candy blue.

"I...Apologize, for my sons rudeness," Draco said elegantly, Simeon watched with wary eyes as he gestured for Scorpious to follow him, Malfoys never Apologized.

The young witch seemed to think so also, but she voiced her thoughts aloud. "Malfoy's never apologize," she shrugged, "Mother is always telling me to give Malfoy Sr. a chance if not to trust him then at least a chance to prove himself worthy of being seen as distrustful." Simeon stared at her a little confused, why couldn't she have just said that 'mom said to give a chance, dad said ignore mom, so mom said to let him prove dad right.' of course even that simple sentence he wished she had used confused him.

Hermoine.
