Memory Loss
He didn't want to do this, really,he didn't. If he did this,he'd have to live with the guilt that accompanied wiping the memories of your lover and daughter. But,where he was going, was far too dangerous for Abyss and Elsanna...he could get infected and hurt them. Or they could get infected and turn into savages. Both were very bad things.
"Oh please,no Master! I-I-I...please!" He turned a deaf ear to Abyss' cries, knowing that this was for the best. "Abyss. I have to do this, where I'm going is too dangerous for you." he muttered to her, placing his fingers on her temples. Pale fists started hitting his chest as their owner sobbed and screamed for him not to do this to her. Soon, the cries faded and Abyss fell limp in his arms, the tears rapidly drying on her cheeks. He gently laid her down against the wall and turned to Elsanna, who started running.
"Elsie. Please, don't make this harder than it already is" he shook his head, waiting for his daughter to come to him. Elsanna slowly walked over to him, keeping her eyes on the black floor. She only looked at him to ask a question that he really didn't want to answer. "Why Daddy? Why are you doing this?". Of all the things she had to ask..."You won't remember anyway Elsie. So what's the point in telling you?" he shrugged helplessly. There was no two ways about it,their memories had to go. Elsanna sighed, resigning herself to her fate. He wiped her memory as well and once he laid her down, opened the doors to reveal a forest about 2 miles out of a quaint little village.
After carefully placing Abyss and Elsanna on the forest floor,he returned to his TARDIS. He walked inside, closed the door and went to the console. He put in the coordinates for The Cheetah Planet and dematerialised, all while attempting to push the guilt away,to forget he'd ever done that to the people he loved...or at least, not feel so bad about it.
The Master has never cried, and will deny it if ever asked...but,he knows that one or two tears managed to escape when he abandoned his lover and daughter in a forest with no memories. He will also deny their existence, asking who Abyss and Elsanna were. But it's all a trick,a technique to escape the guilt...not that it ever worked...
"You're losing your memory now,
You're losing your memory now,
You're losing your memory now,
You're losing your memory..."
