Mystery Garden

Flower petals fluttered down in a graceful dance. Ivy crept up the villa, enclosing it in a light and graceful way. Water softly lapped upon the small building. Birds chirped lovely melodies, while leaves whistled down into the calm waves. Animals started to appear from hibernation. More flowers opened up their petals to the refreshing Spring air. Bees buzzed around busily, collecting honey. The whole garden seemed at peace. Suddenly, the sense of calmness stopped for a second. A sweet melody rang out, far more superior to the Nightingale's song, Harps of Angels and even the whisper of Mother Nature. Every creature stopped and listened. The whole world heaved a sigh of relief. What was this mysterious sound?

The Rainforest

Sunrise. The beating of wings softly rustle leaves, as various birds call across the rainforest. Monkeys chattering while swinging on vines to each lush tree full with bright, colourful and juicy fruits. Plants creep up towards the sunlight, all fighting against each other. Only few succeed to reach the canopy. Fertile soils on the forest floor are filled with bugs, crawling around with dew glistening on the rotting matter. Rivers flow calmly while fish such as piranhas splash around looking for something to be its prey. The whole forest goes quiet. A faint rusting comes from a shrub. No, it's a low growling sound, getting louder by the second. Suddenly the whole forest burst into a chaotic mess. Screeches of different creatures fill the air and the first few trees topple to the ground.

The Wedding

The chime of wedding bells rang out across the town. Claps and cheers lit up the happy couple's faces. During the wedding reception, cries of laughter filled the room. There were also many cries of sadness from the parents of the bride and groom, each proud, yet sad. Relatives crowded around like chattering monkeys. No one noticed the bride who slipped away quietly. Her sister found her weeping under the willow trees in the garden, with leaves rustling around her. They all knew this arranged marriage was a hard choice for their family, but to prevent living in poverty after a financial crisis, this was their only hope.
