Rhythmic hearts
Rhythmic hearts
Every time I got scared from a nightmare, the Doctor was always there for me to calm and soothe my fears and explain that
it was real and I sat there with my head against his chest listening to the rhythmic beat of his two hearts beating as one.
I will always remember when the Doctor had succeeded on getting me back from the parallel world that i had lived on for
2 years, 2 months on my real world, that i had woken up screaming with fear that the Daleks had killed him when the
Doctor rushed in. "Rose, are you ok?" he'd asked with a concerned look on his handsome face. I had did started to nod but
then started shaking my head why crying. The Doctor, being the loving alien he was, had stuck his arm around my
shoulders and asked in a kind tone "Do you want to tell me whats wrong or do you want me to just stay quiet and sit here?".
I gave a big sniff and started telling telling him why i had woken up screaming "I had a night mare that that right after you
got me back from the parallel world, the Daleks came and started killing everyone and you were trying to stop them and the killed you."
the Doctor had just nodded and made soothing sounds while rubbing my back and telling me that it was alright. As i was
sat there crying my bleating eyes out, my heart beat and my tears had slowed down while i was listening to his heart
beat, I said "thank you doctor, for always being there to comfort me." at that i had reached up and pecked him on the
cheek and stuck my head back onto his chest and fell asleep to the rhythmic beat of his hearts beating as one.
