~~"But if you'll let me, I'd like to try to help. I'd like to try to be Glinda, the Good."~~
For a long while after the Witch's death, Glinda the Good Witch of the North had trouble repressing her sorrow, as was evident even at public events. She would appear haggard and distracted when giving speeches, which prompted many to wonder why. Whenever she was asked, she would never say anything past a great trauma. This only served to confuse the populace more, as she had hoped. She didn't want them getting any closer to the truth about her past with the Witch until she was ready to reveal it herself. However, she couldn't keep it from everyone.
As much as Glinda hated Madame Morrible, she was forced to pass by her dungeon cell on occasion. On such an occasion, Morrible would often lean out of the bars and whisper, "you aren't fooling anyone. You only think you are. They know." Glinda soon made a point to avoid the dungeons.
However, alone in her room, she was left to her grief and anxiousness. Would she live without Fiyero and Elphaba? How? Could she successfully run Oz? And most importantly: Would someone find out?
~~~~~ "Glinda! Is it true you were her friend?!" ~~~~~
