With the bodies of hollowed warriors around me, my blade sinks the sorcerers chest and he whispers something with his last words that I don't understand. I feel his body go limp. I hear a crackling sound from behind me and as I pull my blade from his chest and his body drops to the ground, I'm pulled into a portal.
After what felt like hours, the other side opens up. I fall through and I look down only to see that I'm up above a river. As I fall I start yelling "No, no, no, no!" I brace myself and hit the water. I reemerge and start to swim to the river bank. After a few seconds, I hit the shore and lay down. I look up at the sky and see something that chills me to my bones. Two moons. Two moons light up the night sky. "I'm not in Lodran." I say to myself. I get up and look around. I see light down the river. "Hopefully it's a town. I'm going to freeze to death if I don't warm up soon." I say as I start walking. After walking for a bit, I reach the town. It's a little place called Riverwood. I walk past a couple people arguing. "I tell you, I saw a dragon!" I stop dead in my tracks. I run over to the people and ask "Did you say you saw a dragon?" "Yes." They respond. "How? Lord Gwyn killed them all." An old lady looks at me, perplexed. "Who's Gwyn?" "Never mind that. Where are we?" "Skyrim." "Thank you. Is there a place where I can sleep?" I ask. "Yes. Just down the road a bit. Big building. "Thank you." I leave and head to what I presume is an inn. I walk to the building and open the door. I am greeted by a large fire, which I pull up a chair to. I sit for a few minutes before talking to the man behind the bar. "Sir, is there a room available?" "Yes. Ten gold and it's yours." I look around on my belt before noticing a small bag. I open it up and find small gold coins. "Here." The man takes the gold and shows me to my room. "It's yours for the night." He adds before walking off. I take my helmet off and look in the mirror. I'm shocked at what I see. I'm human again. I take off my armor and see that there is no Dark Sign. "Has coming here lifted the undead curse?" I ask to myself. I look through the bags on my belt and find that my only armor set is my Elite Knight armor. Along with that, I only have my Astora straight sword and my crest shield. My Estus Flask is still there, the same applying for everything else. I pack up my gear and lay down drifting asleep.
I wake up, and put my armor and helmet back on, but lift up its visor. I leave my room and speak to the man behind the counter. "Good morning. Is there a city near by?" I ask. "Yes. Follow the river South and you'll come across Whiterun." As he finishes, another customer walks up, and I head for the exit. Before stepping out, I pull down my visor and make sure everything is secure. Then I step out.
I hear a faint click as the door behind me locks into place. As I walk down the stairs I hear a few children arguing behind me, people of the town talking, and chickens clucking. These are sounds that are rare in Lodran, sounds that I had almost forgotten. Walking down the road, I take in the beauty of the world around me. The smell of trees, the tweeting of birds, the roar of the river. After a few minutes, I reach a farm outside of a huge walled city. "Die, Damn you!" I hear someone yell. I run over to where I hear it and as I round a corner, I see a few people fighting a giant! I draw my sword, raise my shield, and rush over. Strike the beast a few times, then jam my sword into its leg. When it falls, I jam my sword up into its chin and into its skull. I pull out my sword, wipe the blood from it, and place it back in its sheathe. I am then approached by a shorter, red headed woman and two tall dark hair men. "You show a true prowess out there. Good work." On says. "Thank you. I need to be on my way though." Then I walk towards to gate of the large city. Before I entire, I'm approached by what I assume is a guard, though with an odd fabric helmet. "Sorry. No one enters the city with dragons about." He says. "That's what I'm here about. I need to talk to your leader about information I have on them." He looks at me, contemplating. "You mean the Jarl? If you're serious, you'll want to talk to the court wizard." He walk to the door and unlocks it. I walk up to the door; nod to him, and open the gate.
