Fireflies

Ohai guise. It's been a while. I haven't been able to update my stories, sorry xD I haven't had access to a computer much lately because I had to give my netbook back to the school last Tuesday, I think. Lul. So like every author, I want reviews pleaaaasseee c:

The whole house was outside. Miku, Gumi, Len, Rin, Luka, Kaito, Meiko, and Gakupo. It was night time, and the stars were twinkling brightly. Kaito, Meiko and Gakupo were sitting on the back porch, looking up at the stars and pointing out constellations. Luka and Gumi were laying on their backs with their eyes closed, soaking up the moonlight. And Rin, Miku, and Len were standing barefoot in the soft grass, waiting.

"When are they gonna be here?" asked Miku impatiently. "I want them here already!" She jumped up and down, sending waves up her white, ruffly dress.

"Don't worry; they'll be here soon enough! I know it." Len put his hand on Miku's shoulder softly. "I know it." He looked at her then blushed, looking away quickly. For a while, he'd had a crush on her. He didn't know if she liked him back.

Rin looked at her lovestruck brother and sighed. "Oh Len. I know that look on any boy when I see it. YOU LIKE MIKU!" She laughed and pointed at him, her free arm on her bare stomach. She was wearing her white and yellow polka-dotted bikini top, with 'daisy-duke' jean shorts over her bottoms.

Len's face flashed a bright red. "D-do not! Shuddup Rin!" He was clearly embarrassed and having a hard time at lying.

"Whatever Lenny. I know you do." She winked at him and started wandering away.

"Hey, look! They're here!" Meiko called out, pointing to the oncoming fireflies. They were floating, waltzing towards them in groups, looking like little soft balls of fire, glowing vibrantly.

"Aha!" Miku giggled, and started running towards them, her feet pat-pattering on the soft, dark grass. "They're beautiful~!" She reached out, both her hands groping for them.

"If you don't reach for them, they'll come to you easier Miku. Okay?" Len's voice was soft.

"Oh, okay!" She put her hands down to her side, and they flew towards her. "Look! One's coming towards me!" She slowly reached out, and let one rest in her hand. Len and Rin walked towards her, getting closer. "Isn't it gorgeous?"

"Yeah, it really is! It looks like a glowing gem in your hand," cooed Rin.

"Here, Rin, take it." She slowly turned her hand over, dropping it into Rin's. "You can hold it. I wanna chase some others." She turned around and started chasing the ones who were lingering in the air, floating, grazing. She jumped around and skipped, her turquoise hair flowing behind her, not in her usual pigtails. Gakupo and Kaito smiled and laughed at the beauty before them, not making such a big deal out of it as Rin, Len, and Miku. Meiko giggled softly. By then Gumi and Luka were sitting up, looking around at the glorious sight.

"Pretty huh?" asked Gumi to Luka.

"Yeah... Gorgeous." Luka's voice was soft as baby's hands, like always.

Miku stopped running, and Len caught up to her. They both walked down to the edge of the backyard, which started going downhill towards a lake. It was pretty steep. She sat down, dangling her legs down. Len sat beside her.

Yawning, Miku rested her head on Len's shoulder. "They were beautiful, huh?"

Blushing furiously, Len looked away. "Not as beautiful as you, Miku." He looked back at her.

Miku looked at him, studying his eyes. Leaning in, she pressed her lips to his, closing her eyes. "You're great, Len. I think I like you too."

"Fireflies, do amazing things, huh?" He leaned in towards her, kissing her back.
