Hello everyone! I would like to thank you for stopping by to read my new story in this category! I hope you will enjoy this as much as I had fun writing it! Please do review and rate, that way I'll be able to track whether or not my story makes any sense (lol) My story will be completely different from the manga and anime.

Disclaimer: I do not own the lovely anime, and if there are instances that the story's characters names, setting and scenarios seem similar to the reality and other story, it's pure coincidence. All of the things that will be mentioned in the story will be all based from the Author's imagination.

[I apologize for any grammatical errors *bows*]

Rated T contents up ahead!

PROLOGUE

The dreadful image of the explosion that remained on the young children's memories became a taunting nightmare that left them traumatized. Trembling small, fragile bodies as the cold air pass through their thin clothed body. How cruel can the world they're living be? Among the group consisting of 7 members, the black colored hair boy stood at the front as he guide them back to their temporary home.

They stayed in the area of the abandoned house, it was nearly rundown and really old that a little shaking would seem like destroy it. But this simple house gave warmth the children who lost their homes, and most of all their loved ones. Four days after that dreadful bomb was dropped from the sky, these poor innocent souls struggled to live. They were a large number of members before, but those who inhaled the toxic of the explosion made their bodies weak that most of them didn't survive.

"Alright, let's settle down now. We'll continue searching tomorrow," Natsume, a reliable and responsible boy, standing as the leader of the group announced as the others put their things down and lay out the blankets that served as their beds. They gathered and snuggle one another to remain warm.

What were they searching? It was none other than a new stable home to live on, the area that they are currently staying at was still dangerous. And just like any other night, Natsume would stay up all night to look out. They can't let their guard down, droids are still around to see if there are any survivors left, and of course if they are spotted, they will be killed instantly.

It was as if they are living in the pure pits of hell, the more they struggle, and the harder it was to live. But for Natsume, that was the proof of living in the world of cruelty. For the past generation that the government failed to foresee what would happen if machines would take over the world, but it still pursued the goal of letting machines live like a human. But look at the world now, full of destruction and chaos, many lives were already sacrificed, many have suffered the lost and many almost went insane.

He clenched his fist, gritting his teeth resulting for him to injure his own lips until it bled. The screams and blood remained fresh in his memories, seeing her own family die as the fire engulf their bodies until nothing was left. Only them the gifted ones were the only one who survived.

Natsume yielded Fire and Earth, however just like the rest of the members on the group. Their special abilities were kept as a secret, because if the government knew about it. They will do anything to get their hands on them, experimenting their body until they are satisfied. That was what happened to his friend, he was taken and never did he came back.

"Not gonna sleep?" He was startled when he heard a voice form behind. It was Hotaru, an Electricity yielder. He shook his head as he turned his attention back to the bright moon, she sighed, and as his friend she was extremely worried.

"I'll stay up tonight, you haven't slept for two days. In any rate, we don't want you collapsing in the middle of the search, you'll slow the group down." As cold and cruel she can be, it was normal for Natsume that that was how she shows concern. He just nodded and didn't argue because if he did, they would end up shouting, waking the whole group up.

"I'll wake you up once I notice something unusual," she said as he nodded, holding onto the spear that he always hold on as he bowed his head to drift to sleep.

"Hotaru, tomorrow we'll live this place…and I've decided that we should train ourselves within the shadows of the forest," he muttered before completely falling asleep, she formed a small smile on her lips nodding simultaneously.

"We have a tough road ahead of us," she mumbled as she looked up this time.
