Title: Dead
Summary: Red of Pallet Town is dead, and Yellow was heavily depressed. Depressing fic, before reading, I should warn you that this is not a Yellow-Red-happily-ever-after. Super Duper Short.
Who would have thought that it could actually happened to him?
The great trainer nicknamed the 'Battler', one of the famous Kanto dex holders, and the Ninth Indigo League Champion, could suffer from such a dramatic fate? Just one, small wrong step and everything turns out the worst.
She should be happy that she's alive, she should be grateful that she could still see her friends. But, she felt all the other way around. And no one could blame her, for she herself suffers greater than one would think she would. Her loved one, her admired one, her hero, her savior, her everything…
He's dead; Red of Pallet Town is dead. Just to save her, just to save her from a fatal blow delivered by a rampaging Nidoking, just one small step, one small step that placed him on that particular spot, one small step that he took without even thinking of the consequences, one small step that sent him to his doom.
He's dead before he can even fall to the ground, he's dead even before he can tell one more thing before he died, one small simple thing that can't possibly reached her. Simple yet important…but too late, he's dead.
She could only stare with horror as she saw him falling to the ground, dead…
Lucky for her that aid came exactly at that time, or…is she?
It may not be too late to save her, but it's too late to save him. Seeing the Doctor shook his head desperately, she screamed, before she lost consciousness.
Dead, dead, dead, dead, dead…..
Those words rang mercilessly in her head…
She didn't know how much time had passed, how many hours, how many days, how many weeks, how many months, how many years…
He's dead…
Red of Pallet Town is dead, and Yellow of the Viridian Forest regret it with all her might, she regret it that even until the very end of his vey life, she still can't tell him the 3 simple words she now wished she could tell.
"I love you…"
She wished she could tell him when he's still alive. Now it's too late.
"I love you… I love you… I love you… I love you… I love you…" are the words that she kept mumbling.
But no matter how you look at it… he's dead.
Red of Pallet Town is dead…
