And it's time for another one - shot! Doesn't everybody just LOVE one - shots? Ya. Nobody likes one shots. They are just short stories that have NOTHING to do in a linear storyline. Oh well. Here I am, complaining about them, and writing one. The irony.
Sora opened his eyes to be met with darkness. He rolled over, but a sliver of light found its way into his room. He moaned. He didn't want to wake up yet. He wasn't going to be able to sleep in until next weekend...
He slowly dragged himself out of his warm, comfy bed. He fell on his face as he stubbed his toe on something hard and banged his chin on his night stand. "Owwwww..." He begrudgingly got ready to set out to see his friends. They were all going to the park for a nice game of baseball.
Something normal for a change. Not fighting the Heartless with a giant key as a weapon. Just a nice, normal weekend. He steoped out int the kitchen, and flicked a light on.
"Happy birthday Sora!" He was met with a cheer from a small group of people sitting around a birthday cake on the table. It was covered in blue frosting, Soras favorite.
He spent the day with his friends - eating cake, smashing a pinyata, and opening presents. It was great to get a break away from the life of a Keyblade master. He hadn't enjoyed himself this much in years!
Sora slowly opened his eyes to be met with King Mickey staring down at him. "Quickly, get up! We are being attacked by the Heartless! Sora jumped out of his bed to be met with the familiar surroundings he had grown up in - and to complete it all, a silver Keyblade hung on his wall.
Dang it. Only a dream...
