"I'm not sleeping in there." Kiba stated, crossing his arms. He spared the holy campers tent one last glance, before turning away in a huff. He could see Hinata nibbling her lower lip.
"B-but Kiba-kun…" she stuttered, "It's my favorite tent."
"So?" Was his blunt reply, "I ain't waking up as an ice-cube."
"P-please?" she stuttered, "Just give it a try."
"No." He was never going to sleep that.
"But-"
"No." Ever.
"Even just for one night?"
"No." No matter what she did.
The Hyuuga gave a nervous laugh, one, which he ignored. Tonight definitely sucked, he thought. They were currently stuck on a mission, in an isolated forest in the middle of winter with this mangy-ass ripped up tent as their only source of protection. If you could still call it a tent, that is. It had freaking holes all up the sides! He didn't know what was worse. How could Hinata possibly think it could protect them from the cold? With a frustrated growl, the brunette turned to glare at said object, as if hoping it would melt under his gaze.
He. Would. Not. Sleep. In. It.
"K-Kiba kun." Hinata's tiny voice brought him back from his thoughts. He looked, (glared) down at her.
"What?" he barked.
"W-well…" Hinata looked down at her fingers as she nervously poked them together.
"Well?" Kiba repeated.
"I-I was j-just thinking…" Hinata hesitated.
"Thinking…?" Kiba tapped his foot in frustration. He was starting to get annoyed. Since when was she ever this nervous around him?
His thoughts were interrupted, however, as a pair of slender arms snaked around his waist and brought him close. His breath caught in his throat. Fighting the mad blush from entering his face, his heartbeat quickened and all anger flew right out of his mind. With wide eyes, he looked down at the flustered girl.
"Uh… H-Hinata?"
"A-are y-you…" she swallowed, "I-I mean, a-are you w-warm enough f-for the tent n-now?"
It took him a moment to register what she just did. But when he did, he could only sigh.
"…I guess."
She smiled at him smugly and was about to skip to the tent when his next words made her freeze.
"But I'm trusting you to keep me that way."
