Yami had often been classified as..strange in Yugi's book. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but it was not good either. He was somewhere in between. Being an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, having amnesia about his past, and being sealed in the puzzle were some of the 'normal' things found to be strange about Yami.

Though, there were quite a few odd ones thrown in there too.

Like, his unecessary need to bite people.

More specifically, him.

"Mou Hitori no Boku, what are you doing?"

Amethyst eyes like his own – just slightly brighter – looked up at him from their pearch on his neck. They blinked, once, twice, before saying:

"I'm being friendly."

"How in the name of Ra is biting me 'friendly'?"

He sat up straight, staring at his light with inquistive eyes, "Is this not how you show your affection towards someone?" a slight frown marred his features.

Shaking his head and his darker's ignorance, he pulled Yami closer, "No, biting people usually shows that you want to hurt them, or that person just really wants someone to bite them for some reason."

"Do you like being bitten, Aibou?"

"Umm..." he stared at his darker half, his innocent expression making him all the more appealing.

He had unconsciously noticed Yami moving closer towards his lips, but didn't try to stop him. He started to lean closer to Yami, wanting to taste those sweet, soft lips...

And then he was kissing nothing, as he felt the familiar pain of teeth biting the flesh on his neck.

Sometimes he wished Yami could just be a normal boyfriend, and not go around biting people for shits and giggles.

God damn.

"You told him what?!"

The next day, Yugi had been talking to his good pal Joey, when the blond brought up a topic he really did not want to cover.

"So Yug', how's the bitin' been goin'?"

And that's when he found out how exactly Yami had gotten the idea that biting people was considered friendly.

"Well, I kinda told him that if he started biting people, it would get him more friends. I mean, the guy barely knows about our culture, so he was bound to believe it. And I told him that if he bit you then maybe you would consider taking him out to dinner. He's been real lonely lately and kinda depressed."

"You told himm what?!"

"Well how else was he supposed to get you to go with him?!"

"I dunno, ask like a normal person?!"

Why can't he just have normal friends? More specifically, ones that weren't complete idiots most of the time?

God damn.

A/N: Yeah, just a little one-shot I created out of the blue cuz I felt like it. Haven't been really in the mood to write any major stories, so decided to take my writers block out on something else. Thus, this was born. I might do more one-shots in the future, I already have a few planned already. Might work on them during homeroom or flex...or math...sometime during school.
