Emily Jones burst into the conference room.
"The hero has arrived!" yelled the young blonde nation as she took a hero- like stance.
"Good, now sit the bloody hell down, America!" exclaimed Arthur, "You're late!"
Emily glared at Arthur before taking her usual seat between the Englishman and her twin brother Matthew.
Ludwig, who had been leading the meeting, cleared his throat and continued rambling something or another about trade agreements. Emily was instantly bored, proceeding to doodle on her handouts. Minutes later, the American felt her phone vibrate and checked it. She had a text from Russia. Emily opened it and read it.
Little sunflower, you must pay attention to Germany.
Emily smiled and texted the Russian man back.
But Germany bores me to tears, commie! See, Italy's bored too! He's sleeping!
I see that, but that is Italy, and you know as well as I do that Italy is hopeless. What must be done to make you less bored, Sunflower?
Emily had to think hard for a moment before responding.
Don't worry, commie! I has a plan!
Emily pocketed her phone and raised her hand. Ludwig took notice and called on her.
"Yes, America?"
"I seriously need to go to the bathroom, Germany! I think I ate one too many hamburgers!"
The German nation sighed.
"Fine, America. Go to the restroom."
Emily stood up and gave a covert wink to Ivan before leaving the conference room. Minutes later, Ivan received a text and read it.
Unbore me, commie?
Ivan smirked and raised his hand.
"Germany, I do not feel well. May I use the restroom, da?"
Ludwig didn't respond, which Ivan took as a yes.
And nobody saw Russia and America for the rest of the day.
