Sakura laid Sasuke's head in her lap as he slowly gained consciousness, and she watched as Naruto fought Doto, Princess Koyuki's –Yukie Fujikaze's- cruel uncle.

She looked down at her cataleptic love and saw his eyes moving under their lids. He'd be awake soon enough…

Sasuke stirred slightly and was met with a deafening burst…Then silence. A break…did someone smash a mirror? No, they were in the Land of Snow…

Doto…the bastard…he had knocked him out. But…if they were in snow…why was his head so warm? And he smelled…flowers…He opened his eyes slowly, and was met with…pink. 'It's Sakura…' She was looking at Naruto's marvelous work. Then she looked down at him.

"Oh, Sasuke, look at him. Hurry!"

He did as she said, and when he did – rainbow chakra was swirling around him brilliantly. Just like Princess Gale…

Sakura watched as Naruto finished off Doto, and at the spring that began to spread over the Land of Snow. Sasuke was looking too.

"Isn't it gorgeous?" She said whimsically. She looked over the mountains that surrounded them. She glanced down at Sasuke again, and saw that he was looking at her. She smiled.

She looked back up. "We did it!" She screamed jubilantly, and Naruto returned her proud shout with "Woohoo! Yeah! We won! We beat Doto, believe it!!" And then he threw himself backward into the flowers that were behind him.

Sasuke sat up from his laying position, and looked Sakura in the face kindly. "We won, Sakura." He smiled slightly, and then put his cold hand on her warm cheek. "You were great."

She blushed a bright red. "Well I…it was our mission...and…I...uh…" She stammered, her face reddening. "I…"

Sasuke leaned in quickly and caught her lips in a small kiss. Her face went completely red at that. He pulled back and looked her in the eyes, nose to nose. "You shouldn't babble. It makes you sound really stupid." He pulled away entirely, and stood to walk over to his sensei.

Sakura sat there speechless, her face a deep shade of red. Her eyes followed Sasuke as he strode to meet their teacher. "He just…"

She stood as well, but looked over to Naruto who was still flopped in the flowers. "Naruto, come here!"

He sat up immediately, and smiled widely. "Coming, Sakura!" He jumped up and ran to her quickly.

"You need something, Sakura-chan?" He stood in front of her.

"Kinda…" She looked away shyly.

"Well, what is it, Sa—" She had leaned in to him and kissed him softly. She pulled away, his eyes wide and his face red.

"We did it, Naruto. You did it." She smiled, and then turned to run over to Koyuki.

Naruto watched as his beloved sprinted over to the ruler of the Land of Snow. His heart was beating at a horribly fast rate, and he felt like he couldn't breathe…"Sakura-chan…" He sighed, his shoulders relaxing and legs bending slightly. He then stood straight and ran to Koyuki as well.

Koyuki saw Naruto coming and smiled. "That was a great stunt you pulled, Sakura. Light's coming off of him because he's so happy." She looked at the young kunoichi kindheartedly. "Thank you. He deserved it."

"It's no problem. And it wasn't a stunt." Sakura replied, smiling. "I did that because I wanted to."

Koyuki sighed contentedly…

Kakashi watched his students as they kissed. Sasuke had caught Sakura wholly off-guard, and Sakura had gotten Naruto the same way.

"Maybe I need to slow down on my teachings…"
