Summery: When 2 year old PJ tries to mail his baby sister Amy puts him in his playpen for time out. For PJ it's nothing but fun and games. Seems mommy forgot to take out the toys

Humor/family

Amy was a modern day mom. She didn't believe in spanking or scolding but she knew bad behavior had to be punished. So when her second born, PJ tried to sell Teddy she decided to put him in a time out. She had already lost their first child, Pamela Jane through SIDS and she hated to be separated for either of her living children but after all time out wasn't a big deal. She would put him in the play pen for a few minutes.

"You stay here," she told PJ.

Then she put him in the play pen and walked away to feed Teddy.

PJ saw a bunch of toys and started to play with them.

"Hi PJ," said his 'imaginary friend'.

"Hi. Who you," he asked picking up a ball and tossing it to her.

"I PJ," Pamela Jane said throwing him the ball.

"No I PJ," PJ said, "Who you?"

"I girl PJ," Pamela Jane said, "You boy PJ."

"Oh," PJ said, "Hi giwl PJ."

In the kitchen Teddy devoured her milk. Amy smiled as she rocked her and nursed her.

"You're so good," Amy said, "Yes you are Teddy. You're such a good little girl"

Teddy giggled. That giggle reminded Amy so much of Pamela Jane. It was the exact same giggle.

Pamela Jane tossed the ball to PJ.

"You know boy PJ you should be nicer to Teddy."

"Nu-uh," PJ said, "Mommy loves her better then me"

"Mommy loves her and you the same," Pamela Jane said, "I know mommy longer then anyone except daddy and I know that mommy loves you as much as she loves Teddy."

"How do you know mommy," PJ asked.

"Mommy is my mommy too," Pamela Jane said.

"Nu-uh," PJ said, "I never sawed you before."

Pamela Jane shook her head.

"I went bye-bye before you got here," he said.

"Why you go bye-bye," PJ asked playing hide and seek under his blanket, "Didn't you wike mommy and daddy?"

"Of course I did," Pamela Jane said, "but I didn't have a choice. I had to go bye-bye."

"Oh," PJ said, "Why you here now?"

"Cause I love you," Pamela Jane said, "and I wanted to see you."

Amy got done feeding Teddy and went to take PJ out of his time out. She saw him happily playing with his toys.

Well that was pointless, she thought

Pamela Jane disappeared.

"Okay PJ," she said, "Time for your lunch now."

"Otay mommy," PJ said as she lifted him out.

He walked over and planted a kiss on baby Teddy's head.

"I wove you Teddy," PJ said.

"Aw," Amy smiled, "That was a big boy thing you did PJ."

PJ then threw his arms around Amy.

"I wove you mommy," he said, "You the best mommy in the world."

PJ went in and finished all his lunch. Then he helped Amy clean the table.

Maybe there is something to this time out thing, Amy thought as she played with a happy PJ.
