"Mai, tea."
…
"Mai, tea."
…
"MAI!"
Skips in. "Oh, Naru, what did you want?" Giggles.
"Mai –" Looks at her. "What are you wearing?"
Twirls. "You like it? There's a matching set in pink, if you'd like."
Frantically tries to erase the mentally disturbing images. "No. Get me tea."
Ignores. "Do you know what day it is, Naru?" Twirls. "It's Valentine's Day!"
"Do I look like I care?" Glares. "Get. Me. Tea."
Stomps off. "Fine, bastard."
Sighs. "Who cares about a holiday where guys have to give chocolates to girls?"
"Is that why I found a box of truffles under your desk labeled 'for Mai'?"
"LIN?" Looks nervous. "I have no idea what you're talking about." Eyes dart around room.
Skips back in. "Oh, Lin-san, I didn't know you came today?" Grins.
"Here." Hands here the box of truffles.
"For me, Lin-san?" Shoots Naru pointed glare. "Why thank you!"
"Actually, those were from Naru. These –" Hands her a small sample of chocolate. "Are from me.
Looks at Naru in shock. Is speechless.
Tries to vanish on the spot. "Damn, how do those poltergeists do it?"
Giggles. "I didn't know you cared, Naru!" Hands a cup and skips off, happily munching chocolate.
Smirks. Walks back to room.
Groans. "Well, at least I have tea…" Drinks. Spits it out in horror. "MAI, THIS IS COFFEE!"
Snickers.
