A/N: Just a short little one-shot. I know I haven't written in a while, but I just felt that I had to give my take on how season 13 should be. I am not happy about Christopher Meloni leaving SVU. On top of that, Mariska Hargitay is not going to have much screen time next season. I will still watch because of Mariska, but it will never be the same.

Disclaimer: I do not own Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. If I did, I would never let Chris or Mariska go. Without them, the show will surely tank.

Olivia sat in the cribs deep in thought. She had been partnerless now for three months and she recently started to exercise the idea of getting a possible promotion. Regardless of whether she got that promotion or not, today was her last day as an SVU detective. Being a detective without Elliot by her side was hardly worthwhile. She still loved catching perps and helping victims, but it just wasn't the same. When she was partnered with Munch or Fin, she couldn't help but yearn to have Elliot by her side. Her relationships with Munch, Fin, and Cragen didn't compare to the one she had with Elliot, but they were the only thing that kept her going as a detective after his departure. They had an ongoing joke that after twelve years of someone watching her backside, she didn't know what to do when someone actually had her back.

Seeing Olivia lost in thought, Fin walked up behind her and gave her shoulder a soft squeeze "I know you still miss him," he said with a sympathetic look.

"More than you know," she replied with half a smirk. "I just can't believe that he's no longer a detective. I always figured it was in our blood, you know? But now I'm not so sure."

Fin looked at her with a concerned look, "Don't tell me you're thinking about leaving us too."

All Olivia could do was look at him with tears in her eyes. Despite twelve years as a Special Victims Unit Detective, she decided that she couldn't do it anymore. "I'm sorry," she choked out in a whisper.

"It's alright," Fin said taking notice of her packed cardboard box for the first time. "I understand why you're leaving. You don't owe me or anybody else an explanation. I just want you to know that it has been an honor working with you and even your bull-headed partner all these years."

"Thanks," Olivia said while standing to give Fin a hug. "I'll never forget you and all you've done for me over the years."

"Geez, Baby Girl, you're acting like we'll never see eachother again," Fin said while wiping his eyes hoping she didn't take notice to the fact that he was so choked up. "Besides, you just won me a hundred bucks," he added with a smile.

"How's that?" Olivia asked with a smile of her own.

"Munch figured you would leave right after Stabler; I gave you three months."

Olivia laughed and slapped his arm, "Is my life just one big lottery for you and Munch?"

"Just certain aspects of it," Fin said barely able to keep a straight face. "Come on, let me give you a ride home."

When they pulled up in front of Olivia's building Fin was shocked. "Wait a second, is that Stabler's car?"

"Yeah, it is." Olivia paused once she got out of the car. "The night he shot Jenna, he came to me for comfort and I guess he never made his way back to his apartment," she said with a wink and turned to walk into her building. "Thanks for the ride," she called over her shoulder.

"No problem," Fin yelled after her with the biggest smile on his face. He couldn't wait to tell her she had won him an extra thousand bucks for finally getting together with Elliot.
