Sometimes, Silver found Gold infuriating. He was loud and rambunctious, often knocking things over- namely, Silver whenever he and Feraligator were trying to train. If Silver were enjoying a quiet moment in the Ilex Forest, guess who'd come crashing through. If Silver was right on the verge of catching a Pokemon, guess who's Pokeball would ball-block his. Gold also had no sense of personal space. It was a normal thing ( but if you asked Silver he'd go on for hours about how abnormal it was) for Gold to yank Silver into his lap if he was sitting next to him at any possible moment. Of course Silver would flail and demand to be released before a certain Champ got his teeth punched in, but Gold'd just laugh. And after a while, Silver would just accept the fact that Gold wasn't letting go and make himself comfy.

But Gold still got his family jewels punched. Everytime.

Sometimes, Silver found Gold comforting. It wasn't often that Silver shed a tear, but when he did, it seemed that Gold was always on standby to offer a tissue, or ever better, a kiss. If Giovanni happened to be around, and Silver grew furious beyond belief, Gold would pull Silver into a hug, and the red head would calm down. If Silver was ever unsure, Gold'd pep talk the fuck out of him until Silver could punch his face in and feel just peachy about it. And if Silver was ever frightened, all he needed was to feel the golden eyed boy's fingersintertwined with his own and he'd know he'd be alright. Because Gold was there with him.

But Silver'd never admit that. Nope. Never.

And sometimes, Silver had to admit- he couldn't do without Gold. He'd realized that when Gold'd gone missing. Of course Gold wasn't really missing- just on Mount Silver with the infamous Red. But Silver couldn't find him and launched a full on man hunt. Of course, when Gold was found, Silver demanded an explanation.

"I was on Mount Silver. Training. To make sure I'm strong."

"For what reason you fucker?! Do you realize I was worr-"

"To protect you."

And there wasn't a damned thing Silver could say to that.

So while Silver found many things about Gold annoying, or stupid, or down right makes-him-want-to-kick-a-Lilipup, he loved Gold.

And Gold loved him.
