"Remus?"

"Yes James?"

"Can I tell Lily?"

"Tell Lily what?" Remus asked sleepily.

"About you being a werewolf and the animagi stuff" Remus sat up.

"No!" He hissed.

"Please Moony"

"No we can't tell me she'll hate me and the rest of the school will find out and I'll have to leave."

"God Moony, if James wants to tell Lily I think he should. This is Lily we're talking about. She's a Muggle-born so she won't know that people don't like werewolves."

"Padfoot stay out of it."

"Whats the worst Lily can do?" Said Peter, joining in.

"Wormtail! Stop ganging up on me."

"They're are right though. Lily won't care" Remus sighed. With the Marauders he always ended up agreeing to things that he shouldn't.

"Fine" He sighed. "But if she gets me expelled, you three are going to look after me."

"I solemnly swear that if you get expelled, you can come live with me."

The next morning James slid into the seat next to Lily.

"I've got something to tell you."

"What?

"I can't tell you here. Come with me." James grabbed Lily's hand and lead her to the Room of Requirement. He felt a bit nervous. If Lily found out he was breaking the law would she hate him? Would she get Remus expelled?"

"Promise you'll love me after I tell you."

"I solemnly swear." Lily said, using James' favourite phrase. James kissed her gently.

"I'll hold you to that." They walked into the Room of Requirement, to see the other three Marauders there.

"Prongs!" Sirius bellowed "What took you so long? A quick stop at a broom closet on the way?"

"Don't be vulgar Sirius" Lily chided. She noticed that Remus looked pale and a little sick.

"Are you okay Remus?"

"Yeah I'm fine" He said shakily.

"So what's the big secret then" The three Marauders looked over at Remus who looked like he was about to throw up.

"Er... I'll tell you as I think Remus is about to throw up. Remus, well, he's a werewolf." Lily looked shocked. Remus left the room, probably to the nearby toilet.

"Well, that went well." Padfoot said.

"Well? That didn't go well at all. Your best friend has just gone to throw up." Lily said.

"Yeah" James said awkwardly. "But at least this time he didn't start crying."

"Oh" Lily said.

"You don't hate him do you?" Peter squeaked.

"No, why would I hate him?"

"Well, most witches and wizards hate werewolves." James answered.

"Oh, why did you tell me, it's not like I'm dating Remus?" James looked down.

"Well, we''tdangeroustoanimals." James said very quickly, under his breath

"What did you say?

"He said we're illegal animagi and every month we go with Remus and keep him company on the full moon because werewolves aren't dangerous to animals."

"What?" Lily screeched. "That's illegal! And very dangerous!"

"Well actually it's not dangerous, because werewolves can't hurt animagi." Peter said.

"But it is completely illegal and you're HEADBOY James!"

"Lily, calm down. I do it for Remus. To help him with his furry little problem."

"Nice as it is, it's very dangerous!"

"Remember your promise Lily." Lily narrowed her eyes.

"I just don't want you to get hurt." She whispered.

"Ah Lily-Flower you don't want me to get hurt. I always knew you loved me. Leave James and we can be together like we were meant to be!" Sirius exclaimed.

"Leave my girl alone" Said James protectively.

"Your girl?"

"Leave LILY alone?" James suggested. Lily leant over and kissed James, before whispering in his ear.

"Actually I think your girl seems a pretty good deal."

It kinda went of the story at the end but I hope you liked it. Review please.
