A/N: Hey y'all!!! I just watched the episode "Cyborg the Barbarian" on my Teen Titans Season 4 DVD and the ending was a real tear-jerker for me! I felt inspired to write a oneshot about Sarasim, the woman who was always full of wisdom and hope..even in the darkest times, and the influence Cyborg made on her life. I really hope y'all like it, sorry it's so short! Please review! ^_^

She never forgot him. The short time he had been in her life made a huge impact on her life forever. He was in every fleeting thought, everywhere she looked, she saw him. Some would say it was hopeless, it was bleak. That she was being foolish. But every time the sun rose or set, she would look at the beautiful horizon, hoping for just a glimpse of the warrior she had fallen in love with. Every day of her life there was a new glimmer of hope, that maybe, just maybe, she would see him again one day.

She never married. Though many took interest in her, she didn't spare them a passing glance. Her heart had been stolen from the first time he smiled and guarded her in battle. The man who forever lived with his armor. If he ever came back, she would be ready for him.

Every battle she led, every victory or loss, she fought for him. He was her inspiration. In her darkest hours, memories and cherished times they had spent together kept her going. They were alive in her heart. She would have long given up, consumed to fear, if it wasn't for him.

The years passed and hope remained, however bleak it seemed. Even if she would never see him again, she vowed to herself, she wouldn't give up. She would always have the memories tucked close in her heart. He would never know the influence he'd brought upon her life. She glimpsed the world through different eyes, learned to always keep hoping, take nothing for granted, and, most of all, cherish what you've been given.

She would never be the same.

Through the years she grew wiser and always took each day as a new day to conquer, to leave an impression. A new day to learn new things, and to fight with honor and dignity.

Even on her deathbed, Sarasim was smiling. She gathered around her tribe, and with her last drawing breath, she once again told the beloved tale of a unique, but brave and powerful warrior, the man she never stopped loving.

Cyborg the Barbarian.
