Feliciano Vargas was spending his day at the zoo. His grandfather Roma took him. At the time, he was 6 years old, and didn't have a care in the world. Until his balloon floated up into the pale blue sunny sky by the lion exhibit. Now that was serious. The caramel-eyed boy promptly burst into tears. His grandpa had gone to get them some pasta, so he wouldn't be back for a while. A few minutes later, it was still the end of the world for Feliciano who was still bawling his eyes out. Then, a little German boy walked up.

"H-hello, I'm Ludwig, are you alright?" The crying boy looked up. Ludwig looked to be about his age and was holding a balloon.

"I just lost my balloon. I'm Feliciano, but call me Feli." he replied, sniffling and wiping his eyes.

"You-You can have my balloon... Feli" Ludwig muttered, looking at the ground and scuffing his foot on the ground, then held out the balloon to the now gleaming (a/n shine bright like a doitsu!) burnette.

"Thanks Luddy, wanna be friends?"

"Sure-Sure" Feli took the balloon, also taking Ludwig's hand in his. Feliciano's grandpa had met a nice German couple while waiting in line, and he walked back with them. Both parents/grandfather noticed their child/grandchild standing together, swinging their hands between them while looking at the animals and talking quietly. "So... do you want to have Ludwig come over to play with Feli sometime soon?"
