Ezra x Sabine (a one-shot story)

Note: This is for fun, just enjoy it!

Atop the Ghost…

Ezra could not stop thinking about the time he had kissed Sabine in the shadows of an alleyway during one of their latest missions together.

He closed his eyes and a flashback overtook him:

To hide in plain sight from the stormtroopers closing in, he rammed the petite woman into a corner and kissed her soft, attractive lips without a single thought. Instead of fighting back, like he expected, she pressed ageist him eagerly, hands reaching to run through his thick head of hair. This encouraged him to deepen the kiss and to take hold of the leg she pushed-up along his thigh. As the world around Ezra seemed to blur into a million different colors, the stormtroopers ran right past, oblivious to the pair of would be lovers making-out on a dimly-lit cantina walkway.

Ezra slowly came-up for air and looked into his companion's sparkling eyes with a new kind of hopefulness.

Sabine gave him a shy, but gorgeous smile before leaning closer to whisper in his ear: "This was my first kiss, and I will never forget it."

Soon afterwards, Sabine left for Kashyyyk on a personal matter and they had not gotten the chance to speak with one other since. There was also the rumor of Princess Leia being capture by Imperials and that put the whole crew on edge. Yet, was Sabine trying to send him a message to forget about what happened between them?

No matter what he did though, the memory of Sabine's closeness kept fresh in his mind. Ezra had never felt such strong emotions tug at this heart before. Could his feelings for Sabine real?

He opened his eyes in time to see the last glimpse of the sun setting over the grassy plains that surrounded the Ghost for miles.

The scene was breathtaking, with all the colors of orange, purple, and mellow yellow blending together in harmony. Why it reminded him of Sabine's spirit and colorful nature, Ezra did not know.

But, there was no doubt, Ezra loved Sabine from the very first moment he laid eyes on her and he made up his mind to tell Sabine just that. As soon as she returned from her travels.

Reaching out with the force, Ezra touched Sabine's mind to let her know he worried for her wellbeing and though of her often.

Before taking leave from roof of the Ghost, Ezra could not help but shout "I love you Sabine! No matter what!"

The End….
