Rachel listened intently to the woman in glasses with black frames and a plain black dress that ended right above her knees, "this performance art group takes no slackers; we only take the best of the best, and if you are lacking in any way, you will be cut. With that said do your best to make yourself known to us; don't just be the person we don't notice or you will not get in. Now go and mingle. Remember, make an impression." Rachel couldn't help but look around at all the people who were here, the auditorium was full of people. Some were familiar like Quinn Fabray, and of course she recognized her friend, Kurt Hummel. She couldn't believe she had been chosen to audition for the Rothwell Performance Art Group. As Rachel walked around greeting her fellow competitors she couldn't help but notice the more then friendly greetings she was witnessing. When she saw that head of blonde hair and those beautiful hazel eyes smiling politely at the new people she was meeting, Rachel could tell Quinn wasn't particularly fond of anyone she was smiling at, and that's when it hit Rachel; she knew how to make the perfect impression. From the corner of her eye, Quinn saw Rachel giving her a mischievous smile. The brunette started making her way towards the blonde, and before she knew it her face was in Rachel's hands and her lips against her own. Quinn's eyes widened, her arms went up in surprise, but she then she realized how much she wanted to be an active party in this kiss. She put her right hand in Rachel's soft, wavy hair, and the other on her lower back. Her eyes fluttered closed as her lips molded against Rachel's. She couldn't believe how much she wanted this kiss now that it was happening. The reason why she'd kissed Quinn was to stand out from the other competitors, but now that she was kissing her all Rachel could think about was how good it felt to be kissing Quinn Fabray. Just as she was about to deepen the kiss she was suddenly pushed away. Quinn looked at her as though she had grown two heads, "Rachel, what are you doing," Quinn asked. Although Quinn had more than enjoyed the kiss, and realized that she actually wouldn't mind for it to continue some other time, she did realize that they were the center of attention for a whole auditorium full of people. Looking at Quinn, Rachel realized she had yet to answer Quinn's question. It was difficult to form words, "uh-um I–I'm sorry. I j-just was trying to make a-an impression and then I saw you and it just kind of… It just kind of happened." Quinn couldn't help but look at Rachel with disappointment on her face, placing a hand on her shoulder she told her, "well…tone it down a little bit, alright," and walked away. Rachel noticed the disappointment on Quinn's face and nodded her head. She couldn't help but watch the blonde walk out of the auditorium to God knows where. Kurt, having witnessed the whole ordeal, could not believe what had just transpired, and knew this was not the end of Rachel Berry and Quinn Fabray.
