This idea came to me listening to one of my favorite songs. I love the beat and the lyrics, it's absolutely beautiful.

Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians or The Heroes of Olympus nor I do own the song.

Percy thrashed around in his covers, trying to stop the monster from hurting Annabeth. He couldn't move due to the other monster standing above him. His face was smashed into the ground, and he watched as the monster took Annabeth away from him. He yelled her name. He cried out for her but there was no response. She was gone.

Percy sat up in his bed, sweating like crazy. He got up from the bed and slammed his fists on the desk, gripping the edges. He breathed out deeply, tears streaming down his face. The nightmares were so vivid; they looked so... so real. He never felt so defeated or scared. Tartarus put a scar on him deeply. The darkness- the never-ending darkness- he remembered the painful journey, but there was only one thing that made him continue: Annabeth.

Standing in the hallway, the daughter of Athena watched. His mother would keep the door open to keep an eye out on him. She was extremely worried about him. Annabeth felt her heart break when Percy crumbled to the ground, sobbing. He held his head in his hands. He kept crying out for his Wise Girl. Annabeth took a deep breath and walked into his bedroom, dropping to her knees in front of him.

"Percy... shhh, I'm right here," she muttered brushing his bangs out of his face.

His beautiful sea green eyes were bloodshot and had rings under them. "I thought I lost you," he choked out. "They kept pulling you... and I kept trying to call out for you, b-but you never answered. You were g-gone."

Annabeth swallowed her own batch of sobs. "No. I'm right here. You never lost me, and you never will." She took his head in her hands and their eyes met; grey on green.

"I love you, Wise Girl," Percy said twirling his fingers into her princess curls.

She smiled. "I love you too, Seaweed Brain."

"Stay with me. Please," he muttered.

She did.

Stay with me

Don't let me go

'Cause I can't be without you

Just stay with me

And hold me close

Because I built my world around you

And I don't wanna know what it's like without you

So stay with me

Just stay with me

Sally Jackson-Blofis walked up the stairs and knocked on the closed door to Percy's bedroom. "Kids?" There was no reply.

She quietly opened the door and she smiled at the sight in front of her. They were lying on the bed with Annabeth curled up in her son's arms. Percy's head was resting on hers; they were both sleeping soundly. Sally picked up a blanket off the floor and draped it over the snoozing couple. As she did, she noticed something she didn't see earlier.

Their hands were intertwined as if they were terrified of letting go of one another.

From the age of twelve to seventeen, the two have been on four quests, carried the weight of the sky, battled in and won the Titan War, survived Tartarus, and won against Gaea.

The daughter of Athena and the son of Poseidon shared a bound that no one could understand.

Honestly, I think that Tartarus will scar them both.

But I think they will get out and make it through the Giant War. If not, they'll die together.

That's just my theory.

Anyways, this is not the one-shot I'm doing for the ending. This takes place after everything happens. I hope it was written well and not too OOC.
