Just popped into my head as I was walking home. Gonna be a one-shot.

I do not own Percy Jackson. But hopefully, Rick will send him to me for Christmas. I've only been asking for the past four years...

Annabeth's PoV

I was sitting on the couch with my book when Percy walked in. He had just gotten home from work ten minutes ago and was getting ready for dinner at his mother's.

"We have an hour." He plopped down next to me. I set my book down and looked at him. His sea green eyes made me want to melt, and I knew by the gleam that he was thinking about something.

"What?"

"We have an hour. Until dinner. With my mother. Remember?"

"Yes, I remember Percy. But why do you bring it up?"

He just stared at me. I reached for my book again, thinking the conversation was over.

"Let's get married." I nearly fainted.

"Um, what?"

"Let's get married."

"Right now? Are you proposing to me Percy Jackson?"

"Why, yes, Annabeth Chase. I think I am. So what do you say?"

It took us ten minutes to find shoes and get in the car. The little courthouse was about a fifteen minute drive.

"Percy, are we really gonna do this?"

"Yep."

"What made you come up with this devious plan?"

"Devious plan? You make it sound like I'm going to tie to a bed and murder you." I laughed at the analogy. "I don't know. I just felt like today was to do something crazy and reckless." He turned and smiled at me before turning back to the road. I could see the courthouse. He pulled into the small parking lot.

"and nothing says reckless like an unplanned, spur-of-the-moment wedding between two 19 year olds."

"Nope." He took my hand and we walked into the courthouse.

It was mostly empty. Just the judge and a few receptionists. It took us fifteen minutes. The judge wouldn't let us get married unless we had a pair of rings, so Percy folded two dollar bills into rings. We said the generic vows and slid the paper rings onto our fingers. The judge made us kiss and sign the paper. Then Percy dragged me back to the car.

He stopped at a little grocery store and got two vending machine rings that we traded for the dollar bills. We got back in the car and were on our way to Percy's mom's house when I recalled some little bits of info the he forgot.

"Um, Percy? What are we gonna tell our parents?

Just a quick little one-shot. Hope it was good. I'm trying to start a whole story. I think I might do A House of Hades, only so I don't got crazy waiting. Please review. They are like little cupcakes with sprinkles brought by unicorns from heaven.
