Chapter 1
"Sigh…" Escher sighed. "No, never mind. Sighing is so… cheerless. I need to think happy thoughts."
"Ooh, a happy thought just struck me. Heeheehee," Escher muttered to himself. "My evil plans are finally complete. I will lure Atrus's pet fool through the D'ni ages and trick him into thinking that I'm helping him. Muhahahahahaha…" he laughed evilly.
"Just remember," he told himself, "you have to seem old, frail, and yet, wise and powerful." He linked off.
SOMEWHERE ELSE…
Bizarrus found himself, again, in D'ni, right by the old desk. Bizarrus remembered those good old times when he rescued Atrus from this place. "Sigh… stuck here again, on another pointless task. And Atrus is suicidal now. How… cheerless. He needs to go see his psychiatrist again."
Bizarrus walked around. "Now, I need to get out of here. Where's that damned secret door again…?" He checked all of the several surrounding doors. "That handle blends in too well. Oh why oh why did I ever have to find that Myst book all those years ago? This is sooo boring. Aha! Here it is…"
Bizarrus seized the handle and opened the door. He walked down that hallway, the next hallway, and the next hallway. Finally he came to a large hall-like room. "Oh my God!!! Look at the giant soap bubble!" Indeed, there was a giant soap bubble that was stuck to the ground and surrounded by spikes. "Hmm. Maybe I can touch it." Bizarrus went down the stairs to the bubble. He touched it. Nothing happened. He went inside. "Hey, look at that tablet stuck in the middle," Bizarrus said to nobody in particular. "It's stuck! Well that's dumb."
Bizarrus exited the bubble and saw his boss's middle-aged daughter, Yeesha, standing in front of him…
LATER
"So, basically, don't give me the tablet. Don't give it to anybody. Free the tablet, and goodbye, honey! Make good choices!" Bizarrus found himself linking away.
"Nooooooooo…" Bizarrus cried as he dissolved into thin air.
(A/N: Well, short first chapter. Hope you like anyway!)
