A/N: I have a little too much time to think when I work security at work... Here's MORE randomness I came up with. Just a teaser chapter, let me know if it's worth continuing! I had to fudge the year a bit, since it's 2007, I took a poll and we decided he should be older, but since that would have made his a weird number, we changed it so it would be 20. After all, all's fair in fluff and fiction, right? ;)

"I can't find it!" Emily yelled.

"It should be on my desk!" Matt yelled back from the living room.

"It better be there," Emily muttered to herself as she began searching the mess her partner called his desk. Emily knew organization wasn't Matt's strong suit. Normally Emily didn't mind, but today she didn't feel like spending time going through his desk-and that's exactly what she found herself doing. At least at work, Cheryl's constant nagging kept his area somewhat clean-he made up for it at home, however, by being a complete mess.

Emily dug through bills-ones already paid and ones that were dangerously close to being late. There were cards that he had received recently for his birthday-and one that he needed to send to…his father, Emily noticed it was just missing a stamp.

She found the papers that she was searching for. As she grabbed them, a collection of papers, envelopes and post-its fell to the ground. Emily attempted to gather the fallen papers into a neat pile. The top one, Emily was amused to see, was a brightly colored flyer which read:

Van Nuys High School

Class of '87

R E U N I O N

There was an RSVP card attached and Emily was a little disappointed to see the 'I will not be attending' box checked. Emily replaced the dropped items and re-joined Matt in the living room. Wasting no time, Emily sat on the floor and leaned against Matt's legs.

"Why aren't you going to your reunion?" she asked.

"Why were you snooping?" Matt teased. He leaned over and put his hands on her shoulders, squeezing gently. Emily closed her eyes and moaned softly. Matt took the cue and his fingers gently kneaded his girlfriend's back.

"I wasn't snooping! I'm an FBI agent-being observant is part of the job!" Emily relaxed completely against her partner. "Oh god, that feels good." Matt grinned, he knew this wasn't the only time he'd hear that tonight.

"I just don't wanna go."

"Why not?" Emily asked softly.

Matt let out a little sigh, "It's just that-I'm a different person now than what I was in high school. It's behind me- you know?"

"Exactly why you should go!" Emily muttered, "You have magic fingers…really," she added as Matt continued his massage.

"I just don't wanna go- I know that you know how I feel!"

"Really?" Emily reluctantly pulled away from his massage, "I'm going to mine."

"You are?" Matt asked, sad in losing his bargaining chip.

Emily joined him on the couch and grabbed his hand, "Look, I didn't go to my ten-year reunion… I- honestly, I chickened out. But I regret it. So I've promised myself I'm going to my twenty-year reunion."

"Why? You hated high school, just- screw it!" Matt said.

"Like you said-I'm a different person than I was in high school. And I know that you are a better person than you were in high school."

"I don't have anything to prove to them!"

"Don't do it for them," Emily stood up, "Do it for yourself!" She started into the bedroom, "You coming?"

Matt gave Emily a playful grin, "Am I doing this for myself too?"

"No. You can do it for me!" Emily replied as she disappeared from his view.

Matt stood up and started down the hallway, "That, I can do…"
