Loveless Lies
Blessed are those who belong
Who need someone to love
Filled with joy and gladness
From the blessed God above
I may be rich beyond my wildest dreams
Handsome beyond repair
But my life isn't what it seems
You clearly haven't been there
You may be having not a penny
But you have much more
A family, who truly loves you, you see
It's something I envy; I adore
I want no riches of glittering gold
No titles and awards
No beautiful possessions so to speak
Which attracts hordes and hordes
I only want someone to love
Who needs me at at all time
Who will shower me with pure goodness above
Who loves me for me, every storm and clime
They may look like perfect family
But what am I to them?
They shuned me for years and yaers
Only needing me for their realm
I can never call them my own
They never ever cared
Forsaking me, leaving me all alone
Not a joy or sorrow had they shared
You haven't the faintest idea
On how you are blessed
As absurd as it may sound or be, I'm being clear
You are heavenly, better than the rest
And so I shy away
My eyes are consumed by tears
As my trembling lips finally say
You had something I wished for years.
