The SGC was going about its business-one or two close shaves with
apocalypse, no big deal-when an unfamiliar man appeared out of nowhere in
the gateroom.
"Just what do you think you're doing?" Hammond demanded angrily.
The man ignored him, instead turning and addressing the Stargate directly: "There you are, Ghost. I was beginning to worry about you."
And it answered. "Sorry, Dad. I was rather enjoying this form."
With that, the Gate began to glow, shrank rapidly, and ultimately took the form of a bracelet around the man's wrist, and the two vanished without further ado.
