I'm only human what can I do?

Drink with me, to days gone by. Sing with me, the songs we knew.
They sat at the turtle house and flashes of doubt crashed down on the human occupants. Yamucha opened the fridge to grab a beer but paused and grabbed the jack instead. He pored a third of a mug full then filled it with soda. Krillin did the same though less alcohol.
What would it mean for any of them to die? Would it change anything, even Bulma had moved on from him. He was weaker then the rest of them and he'd never done anything. He'd always been canon fodder. His girlfriend would forget about him.
"To the good days." He said to Krillin who nodded as Kame sat with them his own cup and Tien. "When a fight was a fight and it didn't mean the end of the world." Krillin cracked a half smile and Tien nodded. Kame was humming a familiar tune that they use to sing some times.

Here's to pretty girls who went to our heads
here's to witty girls who went to our beds,
here's to them, and here's to you.
"Remember Lunch?" Yamucha asked looking at Tien who blushed remembering the terrifying woman.
"And, really, Bulma and Vegeta?" Krillin asked with a chuckle. Yamucha nodded and drank from his mug again. The cups grew closer to empty.

To days gone by, can it be you fear to die? Will the world remember you when you fall could it be your death means nothing at all is your life, just one more lie?
"To the end." Yamucha said downing the last of his mug and standing up. The end. It was too soon and yet it seemed like luck had been keeping them afloat all these years.

Drink with me, to days gone by, to life that use to be, at the shrine of friendship never say die, let the wine of friendship never run dry,
Here's to you, and here's to me.
Krillin looked at his half full mug and grimaced. If this was all there was to life he wasn't going to spend the rest of it in this mug. He dumped it and looked at his friends.
"We'll get though this some how." He said. Tien nodded with a smile, Piccolo nodded to him. "It wont end here." Yamucha looked over his shoulder with a nod and layed down.

If I die, I die with you.
