Author's Note, 1:Okay, this is a little poem I guess that takes place in the third book. I just reread it and I felt bad for Remus because his best friend's son was in his class and his other best friend was on the loose and he was stuck in the middle! He never really told Harry who he was and didn't say anything about Sirius so I wrote this to let out what he might have been thinking!
I couldn't tell him how much I loved him
I couldn't say to him how proud I was of him
I couldn't tell him how much his parents loved and adored him
I couldn't describe to him the dreams they had for him; or how they differed from his godfather's.
I couldn't say anything. I couldn't kid around like the old days and tell him stories. All I could do was watch him and help him.
He couldn't hold me and tell me everything was a mistake.
He couldn't kid around and joke with me
He couldn't protect me and watch over me
He couldn't play a joke on me
All he could do was sneak around, and see my actions.
****
I couldn't tell him the truth
I couldn't speak with him
I couldn't tell him I loved him and how proud I was of him
I couldn't say I'm sorry for everything
All I could do was watch him and try to protect him
He couldn't see me
He couldn't talk to me and bring me up on the news
He couldn't learn the truth
He couldn't stop hating me
He couldn't stop wishing he was dead
All he could do was take what they said and watch.
Author's Note 2: Okay, well if you are confused about this… the first part is in Remus' POV and the second is in Sirius'. I don't own Remus, Harry or Sirius, though I would like to. J.K. Rowling does!
