Loved this series since it came out, and finally had enough inspiration to write a fic. Pure Alice/Hatter fluff. Enjoy. :D

... ... ...

Hatter tugged on Alice's hand when she refused to get out of bed that Saturday. He pulled gently at her hair when she told him to go to hell.

He whined and whispered in her ear, "Isn't all that artsy fartsy stuff what you Oysters live for?"

What really did it was when he sat on her when she told him she refused to do anything before noon.

Sure, it didn't get them out of bed, but it did wake her up.

That being said, the two did make it out of the apartment that day. Through the heavy rain neither seemed to mind, they walked toward the art museum on the other side of town.

After paying for their tickets, Hatter bounded giddily out of sight. Alice smiled, content to let him go at his own pace exploring the new territory. She preferred to gaze with wonderment at every new piece her eyes set upon.

Maybe an hour later, Hatter appeared at her side, a devilish grin on his face.

"Hatter," Alice said softly, "Where have you been?"

He leaned toward her and his warm breath tickled her face, "Adventuring," he murmured.

He tugged on her hand for the second time that day, but this time she was not so hasty in her refusal. She had been through the museum before and had seen most of the pieces at least twice. She could always come back.

After all, following Hatter around was much more fun.

So they set off and she experienced the museum through his eyes.

It was quite a tour; she had lived near this museum her whole life, and had never seen it just as he did.

Later on, they sat in the cafe munching on biscuits and sipping tea Hatter insisted on bringing with, "You never know what rubbish they'll pour you in this world," he had explained.

Alice smiled across the table and looked into his eyes.

Hatter gazed back, grinning like a fool.

"You know," he murmured, "I like all this artsy fartsy stuff."

Alice laughed and replied, "I'm glad you think that."

Hatter nodded and whispered seriously, "None of these painting have anything on you though."

Yeah, the last line is cheesy, but hey. I like cheese. :D Review please! Thanks for reading.
