Haru ran his fingers through Rin's hair. It had grown back to its original beauty, much like her attitude. The woman had never been as cold she had shown others; or at least, behind closed doors and with him she was warm and gentle. Placing a kiss on Izusu's forehead, Hatsuharu moved swiftly from his position as her pillow, though replaced himself with the real thing before leaving the room.
Shigure's house hadn't changed that much either, except for the relationship that had sparked between Tohru and Yuki. It had begun as a seedling, so small and unnoticeable, but with the correct amount of care and love it had flourished. This had obviously hurt Kyo, but ultimately he had decided to remove himself from the family and seek consolation from Shishou. Haru crinkled his nose at this: it was strange, since he was finally the same as everyone in the family yet he chose to stay locked away. He shrugged it off – Kyo never really realized it, but everyone in the family regardless of being the cat accepted him. However, it seemed as though the only one he had loved was Tohru.
In time it had snowed and winter was born, and spring returned again, and still nothing had changed.
