The princess and the spider
"Kisame."
The cold, emotionless voice of one Uchiha Itachi started as he landed on a high branch, effectively stopping their running. Kisame looked from his partner quizzically, his beady eyes glancing nervously towards the direction of the approaching hunter nins. He returned his attention to the dark haired man raising an eyebrow at his concentrated expression.
Without betraying anything he gestured with his slender finger at a far away tree that they would have passed by in their escape. Hairy legs crawled silently on the rough bark, small eyes glancing precautiously around. It bare its poisonous fangs at the two dangerous Akatsuki members. Sweat dropped off Itachi's brow as he stared fixedly on the small, eight legged creature suspended in front of him. Kisame tensed in disbelief, understanding what his quiet camarade was trying to tell him.
"We don't have time for this! We need to go. Now!" Kisame was about to leap from the branch when he noticed the stock still Uchiha. He sighed in displeasure, his patience running thin.
"I am NOT using Samehada to kill another spider! Deal with it by yourself you damn princess!" He snapped glaring at the brat Leader stuck him with. He was half tempted to whack him upside the head, but he had already crossed the line with the boy. He realized that when he felt him channeling chakra to his eyes. He was going to activate his Mangekyo. Kisame gulped.
"Itachi-san…?"
