Heey everyone, I know this is really short, but I was reading Macbeth by William Shakespeare in school and I was doing my English project and yeaah, haha. I decided to post the first part on here and on my DeviantART; future entries may be added, but they may not, depending if I have the time or not.

It's from Macbeth's P.O.V., his journal which talks about his first night of meeting the three Witches. His thoughts and him telling the event and what happened.

Please comment/review and let me know what you think of it, thanks! :)

I OWN NOTHING; I DO NOT OWN MACBETH!

. . .

My friend and I were returning from the battle we had just participated in. Everything has gone well and we had succeeded in the battle. I, Thane of Glamis, and my friend and partner, Banquo, were riding on our horses on the trail that will lead us back to King Duncan. I felt strange. Killing thousands of men is not such an easy task, but perhaps, I suppose, when your life and Country depends on it, you will do it anyways without hesitation. Nevertheless, as we were on our way, we stopped when we heard a strange noise. Both, Banquo and I, looked around and I called out to it, telling them to speak if they can. That is when three figures appear before us. They were the scariest and creepiest things I have ever seen. They were supposed to be women, but they had beards. They were creatures that not one person has ever seen. They started chanting my name. There were three of them. One saying: "All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis!" I understood that, at the time, I was Thane of Glamis. However, the other two did not make any sense. Another said: "All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor!" I was confused. How could that be? There was already a Thane of Cawdor. Then the last one said: "All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!" I was confused, but also curious. How did they know my name? Banquo questioned them, but then they started chanting that he is lesser than me, but greater; he is not so happy, but happier. They said he will father kings and then they started saying: "So all hail, Macbeth and Banquo!" I ordered them to speak more about this and explain what they meant. But just as fast as they came, they vanished. Only moments later after Banquo and I were talking about me being king and him fathering kings, and after we questioned ourselves if we perhaps ate something that made us just see the witches and they were not truly there, Ross and Angus –the Scottish nobles- arrived. They then told us the news of the Thane of Cawdor being a traitor and the King has titled me, now, the Thane of Cawdor. Just what the witches have said.

I had mixed feelings about this. I was confused. How could the witches have known that I would become Thane of Cawdor? Maybe, perhaps, they were real and they told me my future? But then what about me being King? I wrote a letter to my wife, Lady Macbeth, and told her what happened. I do not know why this happened. I do not understand why the witches would come to me and tell me I will be Thane of Cawdor and be king hereafter. I do not know or understand why these events occurred, but I do know that my future will most likely have a turn in events and what the witches have said will play a large role in it.
