"That's it!" Bucky grunted. He punched as hard as he could in the middle of Steve's shield with his metal arm leaving a massive dent. Steve threw his shield to the side as it was no use to him anymore.

"Come on Buck, it's me! What happened to you!?" Steve pleaded. His eyes were full of fear and pain but, not enough to make Bucky remember.

"I don't know you!" He took another swing at the hero but, he ducked to avoid it just in time.

"P-please Bucky," tears started to form in his bright blue eyes, "I need you." He kicked the hero's feet out from underneath him. Steve crumpled to the ground. Everything hurt. But he wouldn't fight him. He needed Bucky back. Steve slowly stood up feeling dizzy and shaky. Bucky grabbed him by the neck and held him up to the cold, hard, metal wall. His fingers getting stuck in the wall.

"This is it! No more 'Captain America'! No more of your precious 'hero'!" Bucky's grip tightened on Steve's neck making it hard for him to breath.

"B-Buck, p-please it doesn't have to be this way," his voice is raspy and full of strain, "you are my best friend. Back in the military when I was the tiniest thing to walk this earth, " he started to let out laughing noises that quickly turned into wheezes, "remember you were always there for me. P-please just remember." Steve's tears with soaking Bucky's arm.

That's what broke down the wall. Bucky's head filled with memories or Steve. The good and the bad. The ones of how they helped each other thought, the ones of Steve being the bravest person he ever met, the ones where he had to stick up for him, but most importantly the ones of Steve being his love.

"Oh god," Bucky panted trying to let go of his grip on Steve's neck but, it wasn't working. "Oh god! Steve!" He was pulling and tearing but, nothing was working. "Steve, I-I can't get it off!" He started sobbing. Soon his eyes were bright red and his face streaked with tears. "Steve, I can't help it!"

"Shh don't worry. All that matters is you remembered." He barley spoke with a voice and more or a whisper. Bucky leaned in and kissed Steve on the forehead. "I can't leave you again."

"Don't worry about me," Steve said with the softest tone, "You were a good friend."
