Disclaimer: Pretty sure it's obvious, but I don't own the people mentioned in this. I just like to have fun with 'em y'know. They're my puppets right now (;

Leah stands on the cliff, a small smile on her face as the lights of the horizon shine down on her, reflecting in the water.

She lets out a breath and closes her eyes, breathing in and out, deeply; she's thoughtful, content, feeling a little restless.

Minutes later she opens her eyes and stares down, her eyes mentally noting the rocks at the precipice. She compares it to herself, her own mentality; on the brink, the verge, the edge and she smiles.

She shifts her foot and she watches the gravel fall, watches the waves crash against the earth harshly, no holds barred, no barrier to slow it down, full force, dead ahead; nothing to stop it.

She inhales deeply, shifts her feet and propels herself off the cliff, gravity taking hold as she falls.

Her laughter, screams and thoughts silence as her ears ring, a ring of nothing and everything echoing in her mind and then she's sucking in air as her head breaks through the water.

She lies on her back; eyes closed, lips upturned in a smile.

The pack stares at her, watching from the shore, alerted about her escapade by Jared. Some on the cliff, some on the beach. Leah lets out a soft sigh and she lifts her hands into the air, twirling them as she lets out a laugh.

"Finally." She breathes, her eyes locking on to Seth's, whom was one of the three standing on the cliff. "I let myself fall, Seth, and now I'm content." She smiles, her eyes free of the usual pain, the usual anger and bitterness.

He yelps at her before shifting and jumping, droplets of water splashing against Leah as he wraps his arms around his older sister and laughs with her.

"Finally!" They shout with joy together.
