They say there's a different universe where people have met before.
And that in another life, they will always be drawn to one another.
For their bonds will never break.
Zoro stared at the boy in front of him on the street. Their eyes locked as the stood before eachother. The sound of traffic and people were completely blocked off. Waves of nostalgia began hitting them, like they've met before. But they haven't, have they?
"Have we met before?" The boy tilted his head slightly.
"No, I don't think so." Zoro replied.
The two stood there for a while in akward silence. The boy grinned and grabbed his hands. The boy walked up to him and stood face to face with him, as if analysing his face.
"I'm Luffy! Let's be friends!"
Zoro was stunned. You normally wouldn't befriend a stranger you just met a minute ago. Was it what he wanted to do? Or is he just acting upon pure idiocity. Then again, this somehow felt like it happened before. In a past life maybe.
"Sure."
The boy let a strange laugh.
"I'm Zoro. Nice to meet you, capt-" Zoro paused mid-sentence. Luffy looked at him strangely. What was he just going to say?
Captain?
"Zoro... You're name's wierd!" Luffy stated and then laughed.
"You're name is wierder than mine." Zoro said. Luffy laughed again causing Zoro to smile a bit. Just a bit.
"But really. Have we met before?"
Robin stood behind the corner of street and smiled to herself.
"Operation get Captain and First Mate to meet, complete. Just seven more to go."
"Robin, who are you talking to?" Nami questioned. Robin shook her head and smiled.
"No one."
Nami was already confused enough with her friend's odd behaviour so decided to just drop the case.
"Nami."
"What is it, Robin?"
"Does the word captain sound familiar to you?"
Nami stopped and began thinking.
"Somehow, it kinda does."
