Thank you for reading.

He felt the tear, then the sudden pull as Wally became detached from reality.

Colors flashed past his eyes as events canvased themselves before him. He saw his friends, family and mentors, flood his mind with memories.

He watches Dick and Kaldur in the watchtower. Kaldur stands tall, stoic as always. Dick is hunched his face is concealed.'Whatever you do now remember this was not your fault Nightwing.' Kaldur tries put his hand on his shoulder but Dick shrugs him off. 'I can't make excuses, that's not what a real leader does.' Kaldur wants to respond but Nightwing has already left through the teleporter.

Wally sighs.

He sees his family, Mum, Dad, Jay, Barry and Bart at home. His mother is sobbing, as his father sits at the end of the couch, his face vacant of emotion. Barry is trying to speak, but the words are never quite formed so he stays silent. He watches Bart try to slip away stealthily only to be grabbed by Jay.

'Where are you going?' 'I'm intruding.' 'No you're not, you're part of this family.' Wally watches as Bart hugs the retired speedster trying to muffle his sobbing.

'Do me proud kid.'

He saw the funeral. The league and the team in Keystone city. He saw Garfield comforting M'gann, Wonder girl squeeze Tim's hand. Jaime supporting Bart and L'gann's hand on Superboy's shoulder.

A sense of pride erupts in his chest. His friends together, united.

'I had it good'

Barry spoke the eulogy, he recounted the experiment, their first day, Wally taking down his first rouge. Barry's voice quivers and as he tries to apologies, the words strangle themselves in his throat. Instead a slow gurgles emits then a break of tears run down his face.

Wally looks away.

He then see's the rogue's in their grotty hideout. Beer cans are scattered across the floor as well as confetti and glitter, old pranks from the trickster. He hears the sound of pipers music sad and mournful drift throughout the warehouse. Mirror master stares at the floor while heat wave downs bottle after bottle of every cheap liquor he can find. The ambiance is broken as Captain cold, stands then raises his bottle. his voice is hoarse and cracked 'To you Kid.'

'I left quite the legacy'

Finally he sees Artemis in their apartment. Bruce whimpers from his bed as she packs items away into boxes. The room feels cold as Artemis speaks. 'Do you remember wally? we got this in Vietnam, y'know after the Gorilla Grodd fiasco.' She quickly stuffs the objects away as if they are painful to touch. 'What about this one? Do you remember how mad weather wizard was when you stole this?' She tapes the boxes, knowing well enough that they will never be reopened. she slams the boxes on top of each other ready to be stacked into the attic. 'Goddammit Wally! Do you know what this feels like?'

'More than anything babe.'

He feels the tug across his limbs tighten, his body slowly starts to disintegrate into the atmosphere.

His visions fade as his consciousnesses begins to evaporate.

Artemis, Mum, Dad, Barry, Dick, it is their faces he see's, their thoughts, their memories. Together, one last time. He smiles.

Wally wasn't dead he just ran out of existence.

What a depressing finale :(
