Elizaveta yawned and rolled over, rummaging through her wallet. A frown. She was absolutely broke on pocket money. Perfect. Just perfect. The worse part was, she knew better than to fritter away all her money, too. But Feliks . . . and the shopping spree . . . She squeezed her eyes shut. Simply thinking about all she bought in that spending high gave her a headache. Her wardrobe was set for the season, at least.
The jingle of her phone startled her. She really had to change that ring tone Feliks downloaded to her phone. If someone called while she was in public, there was no way she'd ever be taken seriously again. Elizaveta lazily patted down the comforter on her bed. Uncovering it, she flipped onto her back and crossed her legs. "Szia?"
"Eh, Elizaveta?"
"Lili?"
"Ja . . ."
The brunette sat up. "What is it—what's wrong?"
"Well, nothing is wrong, exactly, Actually, um, I was wondering if you wanted a . . . a job."
"A job?"
"J-ja."
"It doesn't exactly sound like a good job, the way you say it, Lili," she told her friend flatly.
"It's good for you, I guess, but for me it's . . . Truthfully, it's embarrassing . . . I—Bruder has business to tend to this evening, and-and he says I need a babysitter."
The Hungarian clapped a hand over her face to muffle a very unladylike snort.
"You're laughing at me!" came a very distressed voice over the line.
"N-no, I'm not laughing. I'll take it. It'll be like I'm just visiting or something." But I'll be getting paid, she added in her head. Not that she wouldn't babysit her friend even if she wasn't getting paid.
"Okay. Thanks. If it were anyone else this would be completely . . ."
"Yeah, I get it. Happy to help." Elizaveta sat up and began scouting for a decent-smelling shirt.
"Danke," Lili sighed.
"No problem."
"Bye."
"See you." The line went dead.

Hello~
I don't know, I just always wanted to do a romantic comedy (though I must warn you: when I try to be funny, it doesn't usually work out).
Szia means hello in Hungarian. I read somewhere that it's a lot like ciao, but I'm not sure.
Ummm lessee...
Oh! Why wouldn't she just wear a new shirt from that incredible shopping spree? The way I see it, all the clothes still have their price tags, because she figures chances are she'll end up returning some things, since her senses have returned from the overwhelming world of fashion. And shopping with Poland.
I don't know if Hungary and Liechtenstein would historically get along, but this is an AU story, so I don't really care. ono

There was such a big storm today! And afterward, the sky turned this reddish color all over. And it wasn't a sunset. It was cloudy and an hour before sunset. Creepy and cool at the same time.
