Dawn of the dog sneak peak

(This is Pokémon, but the characters are dogs.) Iris, Cilan and Ash just saved the world (with help from Pikachu and the others), but the world is falling apart. Will Iris and Cilan confess their love for each-other, ever after Ash flees? Clear AU… (This is based on the ending of the game The Legend of Spyro, Dawn of the Dragon) (Sneak peak)

Ash fled the crashing scene, leaving Iris and Cilan alone near the Earth's core. Iris looked around helplessly, looking for some sort of way out. Her pokemon, Axew, sat on her back. Cilan just sat there, with his Pansage sitting beside him. Iris looked up at him, worryingly. "So this is it?" She whined into herself.

The male dog's eyes were closed, his breath silent. Suddenly, he opened his eyes. Turning to his crush, he barked, "I know what I need to do, just get out of here Iris."

"Cilan no, you don't have to do anything," Iris wailed, "Let's just go!" "Axew, Ax Ax Axew ew ew," Axew cried on Iris' back.

"Where, Iris," Cilan snarled, "There'll be nothing left! The world is falling apart, but I think I can stop it! I think I'm meant to." "Pan pansage!" His Pansage cried.

Nervous, Iris looked at her secret crush and said, "Then I'm with you…"

The male dog stared at her happily, and then gave his soul to the world. As the Earth repaired itself with Cilan's soul, the last words of the old Earth echoed, "I love you, Cilan…"

When the Earth was rebuilt, Cress and Chili came out of hiding, with the Village of the dragons following them. Cress looked up and pointed his paw up the darkening sky. As the stars lit up the sky, if you looked closely enough, the stars seemed to make up a dog…

A very old dog looked at an old book. "Be welcome, friend, I have long been expecting you. A new age is beginning, and with each new each, a worthy dog is chosen to chronicle the triumphs' and failures of that age, this has been my honour for many millennia, and now, Professor Oak, I pass this honour to you."

The dog padded up to the old dog. "And, what of Cilan?" he asked. "Is he…?" he trailed off sadly. The soul of his pokemon sat beside him.

"You see," the old dog explained, opening another book, "each time a dog dies, a new page is written in this book. But I can't seem to find any trace of Cilan…" he barked, and glowed white, and disappeared off into the wind. Professor Oak became the same colour of the other dog, and looked into the new necklace with a crystal on it. Looking into a crystal, Professor Oak muttered, "Well now, young dog, where might you be?"

As the old dog looked in his boom, Cilan and Iris played about in a field. Their eyes sparkled as they chased each other as their pokemon followed them. They finally had reached their happy ending.
