A/N: Guess who wrote another story instead of doing responsible things like sleeping.
Me. It was me.
Second Present
Nathalie couldn't believe this.
Why would he do this to her?
Again!
It was Chrismas. All the shops were closed. All presents were sold out. And he suddenly told her to buy a gift for his son.
One day before Christmas eve. Why would he do this to her?
There was no way Nathalie could get a present for Adrien at this point. Maybe she could give him her... pen? But alas there was no wrap paper.
Darn!
Panicking her eyes searched her room for anything wrap paper related, when she saw it.
No! She couldn't. Not Again. It was a miracle it worked the first time. There was no way it would work, Again.
Nathalie sighed.
She had to. For her job. For...for Adrien.
When Adrien went missing on Christmas Marinette was really worried.
Okay, worried was putting it lightly. She had attacked Santa Clause, caused an akuma and almost ruined Christmas.
This day did not go too well.
But the all time low must have been this moment.
It was evening now but since everybody's presents were at their respective homes the only one receiving a present was Adrien.
Marinette was a little nervous. She had planned on being a little further away when Adrien finally opened her present.
Everyone's attention was on Nathalie as she handed Adrien 'his fathers' Christmas present. Everyone including Marinette's parents.
"A Christmas present from your father, Adrien." Everyone's attention was so focussed on the present nobody saw Gabriel Agreste eyeing the wrapped package curiously. Nobody but the three Dupain-chengs. It looked like he had never seen the package before, which he hadn't.
"It's just like my scarf." Adrien called waving a blue hat in his hand.
Tom Dupain leaned over to his daughter whispering "Didn't you make that, Marinette?"
Ton Dupain was a lot of things. He was an amazing baker, an awesome father, a great husband. Sadly, he was not a discrete whisperer.
Everyones heads turned to Marinette's father. Then to Marinette's blushing face (and at that point pretty much everyone knew that Tom spoke the truth). Then to Adrien, whose utterly heartbroken expression lay on his father. Who in turn looked at Nathalie. Who had left the room.
"Adrien..I.." Gabriel's attempt to form a sentence was put to a stop as Adrien paced towards the door at a speed that was just short of running. On his way to the door he grabbed Marinette by her wrist and pulled the blushing and stammering girl along.
The next day in the newspaper it read.
'PARIS'S MOST PRESTIGE FASHION DESIGNER STEALS DESIGNS FROM 14 YEAR OLD HIGH-SCHOOL STUDENT'
'AGRESTE FASHION EMPIRE BASED ON STOLEN DESIGNS?'
Not that Adrien cared much about newspapers as he walked down the street towards the Dupain-Cheng bakery, wearing his favourite scarf and hat.
Though that's not what kept him warm that day. There was just something heart warming about walking down the snow covered street, hand in hand with your amazing girlfriend.
A/N: Hey everyone.
Not necessarily one of the best fics I ever wrote but I would still like to know what you think and if you like it. Any tips on how to improve are very welcome.
