"Ron, is he really going through with the wedding?" Hermione asked as she paced the kitchen of the Burrow.
"Yeah, he is. The final fitting for the tuxes is Saturday, and Mum has everything ready to make the cake." Ron sighed handing her a glass of lemonade as she sat back down. "You know none of us want him to marry her, but yet we all want him to be happy."
"Happy! How can he be happy? She s cheating on him with every man she can get her hands on. She even cheated on him with Draco! Even Snape is shocked that he is still going to marring her!" Hermione said as she played with the glass of lemonade.
"Speaking of Snape, how is the job going? Do you like being the new Charms Professor?" Ron said a little too peppy.
"It going fine, but we re going off subject here Ron. I mean he s a smart chap, but he still can t see that she s a greedy little gold-digger who loves the spotlight. And he is just what she s after. Who s more famous then he is? No one. She s just a bloody little whore." She said letting her anger get the best of her.
"Hermione I know you love him, but he s happy."
" Again with the he s happy . Ron, he s not happy and never has been! He s just blinded by her pretty little conniving face. She tells him that he s the only one for her, but that night she s in another man s bed. Remember last year at his birthday party she was trying to get into Seamus s pants. He excuse for her was that she couldn t hold her liquor, and didn t know what she was doing!" Hermione fumed.
"Hermione, please stop trying to convince me about something I already believe. We need to try and convince him, and you know how stubborn he is."
"No, Ron, how stubborn am I?" Hermione and Ron turned around to find Harry standing in the doorway of the kitchen. He looked pissed as he glared at his two friends.
"Harry we didn t see you standing there." Hermione blushed. We were talking about..."
"You were just talking about how much of a whore my fianc e is, and how I m too much of an idiot to see what s going on." Harry walked into the kitchen, but did not sit down with them. If you want to talk about people behind their backs close the damn door. I really wish you two would let me do something that I think is right. I just want to marry some one that makes me happy. And if happiness is living with a delusional rationality about my wife let me have it. Cho is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I don t care what you think. Now if you two can t accept that I think that I would be best that you didn t come to the wedding."
Harry, come on. She s never been faithful to you and you deserve better. And don t you dare tell me I m wrong." Hermione said glaring at him. "And if I have to object, but I m sorry I will do it with confidence that this woman is nothing but trouble. Look at poor Bill he rushed into marriage with Fleur and they were divorced in under two years."
"You know what Hermione if any of this is true you just saved my marriage. Because if I know my wife is cheating on me I won t have to worry about it. Thank you the marriage is saved. But you know what that isn t the case. She has done nothing wrong, and you two insist on attacking her. And Hermione I know you re just jealous of her because you let me go for your career." With that Harry left the room.
"Oh Ron what are we going to do? We can t just let him marry her. She ll destroy him." Hermione said as she watched the man she love storm out of the Burrow and her probably her live for ever.
