Author's Note
Wrote this as part of my 1000 word episode challenge. This was not needed for the story and it kicked my word count above what it should have. However I enjoyed it too much to delete.

"There's just so much information, not only about things from my past that had no explanations but in also trying to learn as much about the Sanctuary network and it's residents."
"There's enough time to get through what you need to, though in the end it's only a place to start."
Ashley heard the voices carry down the hallway as she approached the library. When her mother told Will that books were not enough Ashley didn't bother to stifle her snort, she definitely learned best by doing.
Propping herself against the door frame, Ashley watched her mother pull a book from an overly large stack and set in on top of another. Moving towards the shelves on the far wall, Magnus glanced over her shoulder, "So what did Sylvio have to say?"
"He got a hot lead regarding some fountain of youth mixture. Well hidden in some backwater area of Scotland. Said that the abnormals within that area extend life, or have extended life, he wasn't clear on that."
Pausing from pulling a book from the shelf, Magnus looked up, "Fountain of youth?"
Ashley moved into the room and cocked her hip against the table, "That's what Sylvio said."
"And why would Sylvio share this potentially valuable information?" Magnus asked, flipping through the book in her hand before replacing it.
"He likes me," Ashley said with a smile. When her mother glanced up, raising her eyebrow at that comment, Ashley shrugged, "He did mention too many things on his plate and better us than someone else."
"Sounds more like Sylvio." Pulling out a slim book with no title on it Magnus turned back to the table, placing it on top of the other two books she set aside for Will. "I would start with these," Magnus said with a nod towards Will. Turning back to her daughter she gestured to the door, "And how much was this information?"
"The usual," Ashley replied as they turned down the hallway towards Magnus's office.
Magnus sighed, "That much for so little?"
"Really, Mom. So little trust." Stopping at the doorway to the office Ashley held up a piece of paper. Magnus unfolded it revealing a rubbing of some sort. Ashley watched as Magnus became engrossed in the paper. "See, I always bring you the best gifts."
Looking up Magus grinned, "And it's not even my birthday. Did you pick anything else up from Sylvio?"
Starting down the hallway Ashley gave an obvious show of evading the question, "I promised Henry that I would stop by to check the progress of his new toy."
She was already halfway down the hall before hearing her mother's exasperated, "Ashley."
Turning, Ashley continued to walk backwards, "Nothing big, I swear. Just a few new firearms." Ducking around the corner she turned and muttered under her breath, "And a grenade launcher."
Magnus's voice carried down the hall, "I heard that."
