Nathaniel took a deep breath before walking up to the podium. It was the first pep rally of the year and he'd been asked to give an opening speech to the students and lay down the school's rules. He readjusted his collar and checked his face one last time before waiting as he was introduced by the principal. She eagerly held the microphone as she spoke to the students.
"To our seniors, juniors, and sophomores, I would like to welcome you all back. I hope you had a great summer and I look forward to another productive year with you all. Freshmen, I hope you are becoming well acquainted with out school, and I wish you the best of luck throughout your high school career. Now for a few words from your student body president, Nathaniel."
Applause. Nathaniel walked up to the podium. He wasn't a stuck up student body president at all. He may seem like it at first, but once you go to know him, it was obvious he wasn't. The principal was not expecting his speech at all.
He took the mic in his hand and cleared his throat before speaking.
"Hello everyone! Welcome back to Sweet Amoris. Our principal has asked me to remind everyone of our school's basic rules."
He took a deep breath before beginning.
"We already know the first rule, which is no smoking or drinking on school grounds…"
The principal nodded.
"…unless you're willing to share-"
"WHAT?! NATHANIEL!"
The principal turned to the students.
"NONE AT ALL!"
Nathaniel continued to talk.
"No fighting or misbehaving of any kind-"
Right then Castiel shouted at him from the bleachers.
"How much longer do we have to listen to this?"
"Yo Castiel, shut the fuck up."
The students snickered at how Nathaniel cursed into the microphone, but the principal simply facepalmed.
"Last but not least, you are to respect your fellow student as they respect you-"
One of the new students, Dakota, had been stretching a rubber band to make a slingshot out of it. He was aiming to shoot a small piece of cardboard paper at a girl nearby, but missed and hit Nathaniel when another student bumped into him. As soon as it hit the him, Nathaniel ran up into the stands and attacked Dakota.
"That is enough!"
The principal and a few other teachers broke up the fight before it escalated in the crowd of students.
"I'm fine! I'm good!"
Nathaniel held his arms up when the teachers came at him like he was about to start fighting again. He walked over to the microphone again.
"The last rule is to show up to school every day on time. Thank you."
He dropped the microphone and walked out of the gym holding up peace signs.
I know this was short, but I really had this weird mental picture of what Nathaniel would be like in real life. He is the yandere after all. Thanks for reading anyway :D
